Chapter 2

Liz Noir's POV

Hearing the word Yes was well a shock and a big surprise for me. I was trying to keep in all of my happiness inside of me, 'cause I don't want anyone to know how I truly feel. The lady told me
"Go wait out side while they sign the papers Elizabeth.." I walked out of the room and waited. I thought to myself while waiting in the chair "I'm finally gonna have a new start..a new life...I'm finally gonna be happy and not sad all the time...But I hope they know what they got themselves into adopting me.." I just sit there and wait. It felt like hours until the lady said
"Elizabeth come here!" So I walk in to see my new parents. The lady had long black hair with dark blue eyes that sparkle in the light, she was wearing a white top with a heart necklace, black pants, and white boots. The man had blonde hair with dark grey eyes that look dead on the inside, he was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, with black pants, and white converse. I look at them with my hazel eyes and they look at me. The lady said to me
"Meet your new parents Elizabeth" I look at them and they look at me. I look at the lady and I ask her "When will I be living with them?" The lady said
"Right now..Go pack Elizabeth Noir" I look at her and say "Wait don't my real parents have to sign the adoption papers.." the lady looks at me and says
"They would...but they died in a car crash last year..I'm sorry.." I look at her and say "It's fine..they left me here which means they didn't want me.." I leave the room and I go back upstairs. One of the kids asked me
"Did you get adopted freak?" I look at the kid and say "Ya I did unlike you" and I flip my hair and walk away. I go pack, I didn't have much to pack all I packed was my blankets, two pillows, tooth paste and a toothbrush, a brush, My PJs, and a bear my old parents gave me. I walked out the room with my stuff in my hand. I walk back into the room and the lady says
"Well you may leave now..have a nice life Liz Noir.." we walk out. We get in the car I sit in the back and the lady asked me
"So your name is Elizabeth Noir?" I told her "Yes but call me Liz Noir.." The lady said
"Okay..you can call me Julie and you can call my husband Jack.." I nod telling them I understand. I look out the window and see the outside world cause it looks different then how I remember it, well it also has been 14 years since I have seen the outside world since I got left at that dump at the age of 2. I see a nice house up ahead and I guess this is where I will be living and, I guess it is time to start a new and happy life here..or so I thought life was gonna be happy but really it got worse...
