Prologue

A/N
This is my first time writing a fanfiction, so don't blame me for the crappy writing. I had this story planned out even before I even became an A.R.M.Y., so yeah. Enjoy the story!

Beads of sweat dripped down my forehead, as I played with the loose strands of my hair. I nervously peeked through the pearl white curtain, onto the vast black stage before me, where I'll soon be performing. "Jisoo, are you okay?" Lisa, one of the members in our band, asked me, with a worried expression.
"I'm fine," I replied, plastering a fake smile before looking back at the thousands of people in the audience.
"Jisoo, we've done so many concerts like this. Just think of it as a regular concert, not the concert of our lives, that basically tells us whether we are the best or not." Lisa said, patting my back.
"Wow, thanks Lisa. I feel sooooooo much better." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"Well, I tried. Good luck!" Lisa said, running away while giving me a peace sign.
"Wait! Lisa! Where are you...."I trailed off when I realized the MC speaking.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you've been enjoying the concerts so far, with Exo, ShiNee, Got7, Twice, Girls Generation, etc. But now, let's give it up for Blackpink!"
I stood there blankly, still trying to comprehend what the MC just said.
"JISOO!!! What are you waiting for?? GO!!!" One of the other band members, Rose, yelled at me, running to her spot. I realized what was happening and quickly ran to the riser, which was already rising, without waiting for my presence. And we rose onto the stage, and I saw a bright light flashing before me...

I laid down on the couch, tired after such a long day. I looked at the clock to see that it was 2:00am, in the morning. I sighed. I never get home earlier than 11:00pm. The life of a kpop idol, am I right? Today we had just finished filming our music video for our new comeback song, As If It's Your Last. It took longer than expected because Lisa and Rose kept sneezing, causing them to mess up the filming, and at one point, Jennie fainted.
My band, Blackpink, had debuted last year, August 8th, 2016, and I was living the life of a kpop idol. Before the debut, I was just one of those normal girls who go to high school. But, now I'm an idol. I don't hate it, in fact I love my fans, the Blinks, who are very supportive and caring. But it requires a lot of hard work and commitment.
Anyway I get up from the couch, and trudge over to the kitchen, grabbing a midnight snack, and plopping myself down on the couch to watch a movie. I wasn't really sleepy anyway. I live alone in a house my parents brought me shortly after I became an idol. I was flipping through channels on my flatscreen TV, until everything went black.
I looked around to see that the light went out. I reached out on the coffee table to grab my phone for the flashlight, only to realize its dead. I got up shakily, and tip-toed over to the TV desk and opened up one of the drawers to find the emergency flashlight. I grabbed the flashlight and trudged downstairs to the basement to check the light box.
As I walked downstairs, I felt a presence behind me. I looked behind me to see nothing there. I shrugged and kept walking down to see all the cables from the light box ripped out and dangling dangerously, sparking flashes of light. I carefully walked closer to see a sticky note on the side of the rusty box, which said: "YOU WILL DIE NOW"
Suddenly someone grabbed me out of nowhere and I screamed.
