My pack, their getting smaller by the day. Either crushed by the falling rocks, burned, or killed by the humans. Those are the main way they go out... We haven't had a wolf vs. wolf death for ages...
It all started when the territory began to get smaller and smaller. Water started to flood our homes... We couldn't stay there, the pups would end up drowning! So we walked. Trying to find our way to the Land of Melting Ice. Te humans are there, only because it's at the top of the world and not affected by the endless waters. My pack has lost so many important wolves, like my pup and mate.
Always travelling at night, and sleeping at day. It's the only way that we could be safe from those upright idiotic hairless monsters. They hunt us for game, for fun, for our cursed pelts! Do you think that doesn't affect us? It makes me sick. I can't wait for the moment I get to lock my jaws and squeeze all the thick red blood from their frail, white bodies... They'll see...
Looking up to the moon, I sigh.... It had been ages since I saw such a beautiful moon. Feeling the urge rise in me, I stand ad let out the long, desperate cries of sadness. I missed howling with my mate and pup.... It had bee ages since smelled their smell, felt their nuzzles, and played with them...
Walking down to my den, I lay down. I was exhausted. A few moments later, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
Running through the forest, the snow cracked beneath my massive paws. Looking back up in front of me, I noticed a human running away from me. Hearing its scream only made me run faster. When I finally got close enough I bit its hind leg, causing it to fall forward onto a sharp rock. As I heard its bones crack, I saw that it was still alive, its front and back legs were broken... Stepping forward, I bared my teeth. Standing in front of it, I licked me canines, waiting for a scream... Growling even louder, I stepped forward and bit it's shoulder. Yanking my head back, I felt joy grow inside of me, as blood smeared everywhere, the scene turning red... As I dropped the front leg in my mouth in front of me, I noticed the long paws were still twitching, but turning paler than the snow. The skin was still attached to the injured beast though. As I looked closer, I noticed the hairless' breathing was getting softer, fury grew inside me, I wanted it to feel the pain I had felt. So, I bit it's short scrawny neck and and locked my jaws. Feeling the jugular pop in my mouth I shook my head. Every time I shook my head, more and more blood fell to the ground in front of me.... Not only was the human screaming, but so was every tree and bush around me.... As I felt the body drop I looked and saw the head detached. Blood was dripping from every part of the head, I felt relieved.... And then, pain shot through my chest. Looking down I saw a twig with a sharp rock at the end of it pierced through my chest.
Gasping for air I fell to the ground. Opening them again, I cursed at the dream that had just taken place....
"It was just a dream....." I repeated to myself until I was comforted. Walking out of my den, I noticed that all of my pack was already wake, with concerned emotions. "Everyone," I snarled, "Go to your patrols, now!" As I yelled, my pack nodded and ran off without hesitation, they nodded and ran off. Noticing my sister still sitting there, I walked over to her. "Just because you are my kin, that does not mean that you can just do whatever you like... You must follow my command, because, I am pack Alpha." I said flatly with no mercy in me. It really aggravated me that my sister thought that she could do whatever she liked whenever she wanted to. Waiting for a rude reply in return I listened, "You may boss me around as much as you like, now....... But, you won't be Alpha for forever..........." She threatened.
Jumping up I snarled, "Is that a challenge?" I said, as the hair on my back rose and made me look like a hyena. "It may be............... But you'll loose!" She yelled as she snapped her maw towards my scared face. Jerking back and stomping my massive right paw on her head, I held her there, all my weight pushing into her skull. Bending my muzzle down to her ear, I whispered, "You may think that, but, don't fill your head with myth!" I said as I bit her neck and carried her out to the Omega area, "For now on, you, shall be known as an Omega!!!"
As I looked around, I noticed the whole pack howl and cheer... At least they respected me...
Feeling a growl of aggravation erupt low in my chest, I walked away from my pack. As I came to the edge of the forest, plopped onto my stomach, my head resting on my paws. This area had o many memories, and I let them overtake me.
"Is someone there" I heard something ask. Shaking my head I ignored it thinking that it was just the wind. "Is someone there?!" Knowing that I actually was hearing someone talk to me, I growled in defence.
"Yes, there is someone here." I said walking towards the voice. As I approached the scent I recognized it as another wolf. But not one of my pack.
As I came face-to-face with the wolf I noticed something irregular about him. He was massive, some of his face was missing, and, he head strange markings that were hurting my eyes. Trying to stand up to his height, I snarled and asked loudly, "Who are you?! You better tell me, or else, you'll pay." I threatened as I scratched at the ground. The enemy wolf chuckled, which made me furious, "Answer me, now!" I said, as I felt the fur on my back rise. As the wolf answered me, I flicked my ears in pain, its voice was so deep and scratchy, it made my ears ring. "You..... Should... Watch what you.... Say, it may..... Kill you!" The huge wolf said to me, as it's forked tongue licked its chops...
I laughed, "You're pathetic," I said to it. The wolf snarled and ran off. Pridefully I stuck my tongue out and ran back home.
I knew that I could win anything.
