In the darkness the woodland creatures creep steadily towards the angelic heart of Lana, while my demonic heart races, I want to run to her. 'why would she risk her life for the darkness, me?' I think to myself.
I take one step back hoping that this isn't reality, then my hand hits a door. I run my hand on the rough surface of the wood. I can't stand this sight anymore, I move to look at the door when my angel, Lana, calls to me "Enki, stay with me, I can't bear to be alone." her voice lingers in the sickeningly sweet air.
I force myself to stare at the door, temptation to turn and save Lana is setting in. I open the door and my eyes are blinded by white light.
I wake up sweat poring out of the pores all over my body. Nightmare, my futon is soaked in sweat. The smell sticking in my throat making me want to vomit....Disgusting, why does sweat smell so vile? is it the fact that we see it as something unhygienic?
I sit up, my tiny room is covered by dirty yukatas. I stay sat in bed thinking about the nightmare I had last night. My poor Lana, I would never let her die.
I stand up. There is footsteps outside my room, a figure stood at the slides. "Enki, can I come in?" Her voice calls, I stumble as I run to the slides and then I pull them open. Lana. "Lana, yes of course! Are you okay? You look like you are going to cry! Did someone hurt you?"
