Jordan- that guy who fell on you during the ferry. If you're in the Seattle area for a bit maybe we could hang out!"
I blushed immediately. No one has ever done this for me before. It was actually kind of nice having attention for once.
The drive to the hotel my sister and I were staying at was uneventful, but as soon as we had reached our destination, I called him immediately.
"Hello?" I heard a voice similar to the guy on the ferry boat.
"Hi this is Jesse, the girl you fell on then gave you're number to!" I laughed.
I heard someone laughing in the background, and then Jordan spoke again.
"Oh hi Jesse!" He exclamed. His voice was the cutest thing ever I smiled as soon as I heard it.
"I was wondering if we could get to know each other a bit better, maybe we could hang out sometime soon." He told me.
"Yes of course! I am in the Seattle area for a couple days for my sisters gaming convention thing, then heading to Los Angeles."
"Pax Prime?" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, why?" I responded.
"I'm going to that too," he replied. "I have extra VIP passes if you want to come with me."
"Oh sure! Would my sister be able to come as well? She is the reason I'm going." I told him.
"Of course! I'll text you tomorrow then?" He asked me.
"Okay. Bye!"
Then I hung up.
When I tried to fall asleep, I had the hardest time. I couldn't stop thinking about my date with Jordan. Or friend-date. Is that even a thing? I don't really know what this is. But I couldn't wait to see Jordan again.
