"Lillypad! Where is my little Lillypad?" a little girl of the age of three woke up and rubbed her big deep brown eyes. She jumped out of bed and ran to find the voice that was calling her. "Lilly!" called the familiar voice to her. " I is comiwg" she called out. Her little feet carrying her as fast as her little feet can go. "there you are my little Lillypad" Lilly jumped into her fathers strong and dependable arms. She gave her father the biggest hug she could possibly manage. "papa woo is back!" Lilly squealed with excitement of her fathers return. Lilly looked at the other end of the table and saw her mother sitting there watching her daughter's eyes light up as she and her father no longer have any miles between them. Lilly smiled at her mother as she keeps hugging her father not wanting to let him go. "sweet Lilly why don't you sit down and eat something your papa isn't going anywhere" asked her mother while patting the seat between her and her husband. Lilly looked at her father like she was looking for her father to agree with her mother. Her father nodded in agreement with his wife while smiling then set her down on the floor. Lilly ran and got her stool and put it by her chair and climbed onto the chair. After breakfast her parents left her with her nurse while they go take a walk in the garden. Lilly played with her favorite doll by the large window in the sitting room waiting for her parents. Her nurse was behind her brushing her long dark chestnut brown hair. Her hair went down to the the little three year old's waist. Lilly kept checking to see if she could see her mother and father returning from their walk. " you missed your papa didn't you miss Lilly?" her nurse trying to take Lilly's mind off of watching for her parents. Lilly nodded "Wes he gone for a weally long time" her nurse didn't like seeing Lilly upset like this. "well he had to go to one of the other kingdoms and talk to their kings to make deals." Lilly hated it when her father had to go on his trips because she missed him so much. All of a sudden Lilly and her nurse saw her mother running to the castle. Lilly's nurse told Lilly to stay put and she ran out of the room to go see Lilly's mother. "what is it ma'am? What ever is wrong?" Lilly's mother queen Amy Avery was out of breath and was gasping for air then she finally said "hurry Maddieh get Lilly to safety! There are enemies on the grounds go hide Lilly and yourself!" Maddieh hurried and grabbed Lilly and hid her. Lilly clung tightly to her doll and was scared for the shaking and scared little three year old had no idea what was happening. Maddieh told Lilly "no matter what Miss Lilly stay in here never leave until someone comes for you." Lilly nodded. Maddieh went looking for Queen Amy Lilly's mother before hiding herself. Maddieh found Lilly's mother dead on the floor so Maddieh ran to hide her self but never made it. Lilly did as she was told and stayed there. She put her ear to the door and she could hear men yelling and shouting but she couldn't understand anything they were saying. Lilly wanted her parents so bad but the little girl was too scared to cry for she didn't want the men to hear her. Hours later she fell asleep the men were still there but not yelling and shouting as much. Lilly woke up to the sound of someone opening the door. Lilly grabbed her doll and huddled in the corner. "who is opening the door?" she asked her self " w what if it is the men? Are they going to hurt me? Is someone here to save me?" she asked her self all those questions and more that went thro her head. Her little body was trembling in fear of what is to come even some silent tears went down her pale little face. The door finally opened it was 4 men. They saw the little girl shaking in fear they realized all of the royal family wasn't dead. "princess Lilly it is ok we are here to help you. All the bad men are gone." those men were there to help her for her father King Billy sounded the alarm for others to come help. One of them picked Lilly up and carried her away. She was sent to live with her mothers sister Aunt Nelly and her husband Uncle Manny.

12 years later.....
"Lilly Mercy Avery you wake up right now girl!!!" there was no reply to the yelling voice. "Lilly I am getting impatient! Wake up right now before I come up there!!!* Lilly woke up to a voice that was not the most pleasant to wake up to! Lilly looked at the clock it was 5:00 am. "I am coming right down Auntie." she paused for a moment to listen. She heard her Aunt sigh then he turned and walked away. Lilly quickly got up and brushed her hair and changed out of her pj's and into her worn put dress. She quickly ran to her bed and reached under her pillow and she pulled out a small picture. She took a moment to look at the last small thing she had of her old life and of her parents who tragically died when she was really little. She knew her Aunt was waiting so she put the picture away and ran down the stairs from her bedroom which was the attic. "good morning Aunt Nelly." Her Aunt looked up from her papers. "Get cooking your Uncle ad I need to eat before we open the shop you know that!" Lilly realized that her Aunt is in one of those moods so Lilly knew it would be a rough day ahead of her. "yes ma'am" She started to cool her Aunt's favorite breakfast while she waited for her Uncle to come down from the master bed room upstairs. "good morning Uncle Manny." Lilly smiled at her Uncle when he winked at her for his reply of a good morning. Her Aunt finished by the time her Uncle was down stairs and sitting down. "What would you like this time Uncle?" Her uncle scratched his beard "Surprise me my little peanut." He smiled when he said his nice name for her. As long as Lilly could remember her Uncle has always called her his little peanut. She was never sure why but he always did. Lilly quickly made her Uncles breakfast so that he could open shop! Lilly at her breakfast in the kitchen as usual. Her Aunt says they couldn't risk the customers seeing her eat in the main room so she had to go back in the kitchen. Lilly ate with her doll she has had since that day her parents died. It was a small doll that had red hair, pale, had a red smile on her face, and had brown eyes. Lilly loved her doll even now at age 15. "I know Auntie thinks I am too old for her but she brings a smile to my face when I need her most." Lilly whispered to her self. This doll had a kind of funny name for a doll. Most girls would name her more common names like Molly or Anna. Not Lilly when Lilly first got her as a little tiny girl she named her Kitty. Lilly honestly doesn't know why she gave the doll that name but since the day she got her she was called kitty. Not a moment after Lilly finished her meal her Aunt once again started up and calling for her. " Lilly Mercy Avery hurry up girl you need to be sweeping these floors. Hurry we are opening she shop in 5 minutes!!" Lilly sighed and thought "Why does that lady always use my whole name to talk to me or at least yell at me?" Lilly's Aunt Nelly rarely ever talked to Lilly in a civil tone she was always yelling or screaming for her or at her. "I wonder how daddy would have talked to me..." Lilly thought that often. Lilly forgot what her parents were like. She has lost all memory of her father and the memory the only memory of her mother was remembering seeing her outside running when Lilly was waiting for her parents to return from their walk that day. The she would have forgotten what they looked like if it wasn't for that picture she has under her pillow. Lilly knew that there would be no break for her today. Lilly wished that her parents were there today more then anything that day. For it is her 15th birthday. Was there gonna be cake or ice cream or even presents for her? Of course not! Her Aunt never allowed that there for her at least if it were her Aunt's or Uncle's birthday there was all that good stuff. "Hey peanut come here." she looked over at the whispering voice. It was her uncle and his sweet smile. She walked over and he looked at his wife and yelled "I am taking Lilly in the back to help me with something Nelly." Her Aunt waved her off as her reply at the front counter. Her Aunt didn't care where Lilly was as long as she could look and see her working harder then ever where ever she was. Her Uncle took her in the back and gave her a small thing he took out of his pocket. She took off the cloth that was covering the item and saw a little shiny rock. It was so smooth Lilly wanted to feel it always. "Oh Uncle!" she gave him the biggest hug "I love it and I will keep it always!" That made her Uncle very happy. "I know it isn't much but I got it just for you!" He coughed and coughed. Lilly quickly gets her Uncle a glass of water. "You ok Uncle?" he nodded "I am very good! Even if I died right now I would die a happy man for when I see your smile I know it is real when you flash it at me." Lilly smiled and shook her head "Now Uncle let's not talk like that lets hope and pray that you live many many years yet!" Her Uncle laughed and nodded in agreement. "Yes my dear Lilly lets hope I do live many many years. Let's pray I get to see you grow up to be a fine lady I know you will be and I get to see you get married." Lilly didn't smile at that thought for she thinks she will never marry because she thinks her Aunt will not allow it. "Let's get back before Auntie sees me gone too long."
