SaiTei's Story-
As a small child, her parents did not like her. More attention was payed towards her older brother Borial, who was loved by both parents. Even her name was given to her to remind her of now much they thought she was a mistake. SaiTei. She had enough of the neglect and the names, so she ran away. Even her disappearance wasn't enough for her parents to feel guilty, so they didn't bother to come find her. Not even her brother, who was the only one of the household to even see her as an equal.
She ran far, running into many creepy people. She walked alone on the sidewalk, and found a bird near to death. She picked up the bird and nursed it to health, and kept it as a friend. One day, it's diseases had kicked in and it died. She was full of grief, and sat alone in an alley. A group of cloaked people came up to her, and offered her a way to "get better" and even offered to take her in like their own child. She was so full of grief and sadness that she took the offer without thought. She was willing to take the risk of these people possibly being child murderers.
They took her in as their own child, and trained her to be a high class murderer. When she was older
( quick fact- She ran away at age 5 and trained for three years - she is 8 now))
she was given her horn, and she joined them not only as family but as an employee. She then returned home. Borial was happy to have her back, but her parents did not. For the horn, her parents hated her more. Borial now being older, stood up to his parents and demanded they let her stay. They agreed. So SaiTei was allowed back, and she moved her room to the basement. Due to her parents still not really caring, she took her "business" of murder in the basement. Often the cloaked people come back, and give her assignments. These assignments for example could be " by next Tuesday give us 10 dead bodies". Or even " kill this person in specific on this day". If she fails to complete an assignment they give her a strike. If she gets three strikes, then they are forced to remove her from the agency as well as killing her for the sake of their agency being kept a secret.
Though since they are like family, they allow her to have 10 strikes instead. And some things they allow to slip by, so she has no worries of being removed from the group.
