"Hello!"

"Hello. Is anyone out there?!"

I'd searched for any kind of life form ever since I got here. I didn't remember how or when I got here but I knew that I had to find a way out.

As time went on the area around me became more clear. I saw houses, roads and cars. But no people. I was in the same town I grew up in. I knew it as the name of Moonbrooke. That was until it was ambushed by werewolves. Yes that's right. I said werewolves. There are lots of mythical creatures that are more than real. Vampires, fairies, elves etc etc are all real. And then there's me, a witch. The werewolves renamed the town as the Crescent. I just imagined it to be more lively and welcoming. Well it would never be welcoming. Werewolves and witches have never been able to get along. I don't quite understand why.

I knew this town live the back of my hand, and I knew exactly where the town border was. I wasted no time and I started to run towards the edge of town, through the forest. I used to go there a lot when I was little to just be alone. I was different to the other kids in the town. I was stronger and faster than everyone else, and no one knew why. As I got to the forest I had a mass of flash backs appear in my mind.

-flashback-

"Hunny what are you doing!?" My mother shouts at me.

"I can't control it! Just please make it stop!" I shout half crying, half screaming. I look around at my surroundings. My home is in flames. My father is on the floor with blood pouring out of his left side.

"Mo-mm." I cry out.

"You need to run. The town will hunt you. You know that we're not supposed to kill our own kind. Please just run as far as you can." My mother says to me.

"I'm not leaving you!" I shout.

"You have to now go!" She shouts back.

I hear shouting coming from outside so I go and face the people. A few stepped back in fear. While the others just glared at me.

"Kill her!" Someone shouts.

"No, she deserves a fate worse than death. A fate that she can't escape. We need to send her to a prison world." The head witch Jensen declares.

About five of the people hold eachothers hands and start to shout at me in our language which is known as heretic. I had no idea what to do. I didn't want to hurt anyone else. I just stood there and closed my eyes to let it happen. After all I did deserve it.

"Noo!" I open my eyes to see my mother jump in front of me. A few seconds later she was gone.

"Mom. Mom! No. Where did you send her!?" I shout.

"We don't know but don't worry you'll be joining her soon." Jensen orders the witches to do the same again and soon I start to disappear into darkness.

-end of flashback-

Mom. She tried to save me.

Dad. I killed him.

The rest of the town. Hates me.

Jensen said that I'd see her soon. I'd looked everywhere in this town and there was no sign of her. Or anyone for that matter.

"Abby!" I hear my mothers voice. It sounded like it was coming from outside of town. I started to run again.

Just as I was about to step over the town border I got blasted back by something. I tried walking instead of running into it and there was still no way of getting through. There was only one option. To absorb the magical energy from it. I placed my hands close to the force field and closed my eyes. I did exactly what I was taught to do but it wasn't working. I tried to drain the magic out of a flower instead and that wasn't working either. There was only one explanation. When I was sent here, they must of stripped me of my powers.

I felt so angry and sad at the same time. At least here I could be free and I couldn't hurt anyone. I decided to start running again to clear my head a bit but the sound of my mothers voice was still there. The fact that I couldn't see her or get to her was driving me crazy. On the way through the forest I wasn't looking where I was going and I ended up falling into a hole.

I felt like I was in this hole for days but it was only probably only for a couple of hours. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't get out. It was the fact that I didn't want to get out. My body felt frozen but my mind was going crazy.

"Hello!" I heard a boy's voice which knocked me out of my trance. I thought it was just another voice inside my head but then it spoke again.

"Is there anyone out there?" The boy spoke again. I stayed quiet because I was scared that it might just be a trap.

"You okay down there?" I look up and the boy is looking down at me in the hole.

"How did you find me?" I asked.

"I heard your heart beating really fast." He smiles. "Need a hand?" He offered me his hand and I took it. He pulled me up without any trouble at all.

"Thanks." I said admiring his facial features.

"I'm Ethan." He smiled again.

"Abby." I replied.

"How long were you down there?" He asked me.

"Oh not long." I said.

"So where are we?" He looked around us.

"We are in Moonbrooke or the Crescent. Whatever you wanna call it." I rolled my eyes.

"Where is everyone?" He asked me. He sure did have a lot of questions.

"There is no other life form here. We are in what's called a prison world. There is no escaping. Not even through death." I replied.

"What?" He stepped back a little and started to breath heavily.
