"Now presenting Ms. Dylan Reed." The royal servant announced as I walked into one of the living rooms seeing my parents and my siblings gathered together on their phones talking to one another.
"Father, must he do that every time we walk in a room?" My father looked up from his cellular looking at me.
"He's preparing for tonight." He said looking back at his phone. I walked around the table plopping down next to my father.
"Aye, be careful plopping your heavy ass on my couches stupid." I laughed loud and in a ugly way as my mother scrunched up her nose at my actions.
"You'll never find a man with that laugh." I gasped.
"I got it from you and yet dad found you." She rolled her eyes shaking her head causing her and I to laugh.
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did." She rolled her lips sticking out her hand in a ghetto manner.
"Okay? And your father loves it." I looked down at father and his eyes went wide. My siblings and I busted out in laughter. Mom rolled her eyes going back to typing on her phone. The thing about my family is that we can all joke around with each other but in front of the royal families we have to be serious and civil human beings, that's why I don't like attending parties, or events that take place to where I have to show a fake smile. The last ball, or event I've been to was long ago when I turned twelve. I'm currently twenty two. I'm the second oldest out of five. I'm princess of many countries. Out of all my siblings I would say I'm the well behaved/ least bratty one, the rest of my siblings will treat you like shit basically, if you're not at their level or meet there expectations they will belittle you. I hate the fact that they do that, I believe they let the power go to their heads, father thinks the same thing.
"Dylan will you be attending us tonight?" Our oldest Donavan asked. I shook my head.
"No sir." I said closing my eyes leaning my head back.
"I think you should come to this one, Donny has a special guest coming." Dalila the third to youngest sister said taking her eyes off her tablet making kissy faces at Donavan. He rolled his eyes.
"Oh really?" He got up walking out the room. The guards that was assigned to him followed him out the room.
"Yeah, you should come Donny has a girl attending, he says she's the one, but who knows." Mother spoke running her hands through Dalila' hair.
"Nah, I'll pass. I can meet her some other time." They shrugged knowing there is no way to convince me into going. I got up walking out the room to the stairs of death as I call them my guards walked along side of me, I had four guards assigned to me since I'm supposably a target to some guy I was suppose to marry but didn't. It didn't faze us as much. I noticed I was missing one though.
"I need father to replace these stairs with escalators or a elevator fast." I said breathing hard walking up the steps.
"You barley made it up the eighth step." My guard Ryan said. I looked down whining.
"Awe." He laughed as we continued up the stairs.
"Where's Katie?" Ryan looked at the empty corner with his eyes not turning his head.
"She got pregnant." I awed.
"That's adorable, remind, remind, re- wow these are lot of stairs." I said walking up them with my hands on my knees.
"You're just out of shape." Ryan said I flipped him off as he laughed.
"Her replacement should be here this afternoon." I nodded. We finally reached the top of the stairs I was crawling on my knees by now breathing in and out.
