Jason and I ate out for lunch. Our engagement has been all over the news, newspapers, social media's everything. I sighed trying to not think about it. The guards was currently on duty and man I didn't like them so well, but Jason kept my mind off of them.

"What's up beautiful." Looking at my fiancée I smiled.

"Nothing my love just thinking about everything, plus leave in tomorrow so I'll be sad I can't see you." I pouted leaning back in my chair while eating my fruit salad.

"We'll make a way." I nodded looking at the sidewalk closing one eye as the sun hit my face.

"Oh my goodness gracious alive, you're princess reed. Your majesty." A man said breaking our conversation. I set my hand out greeting him in a royal way my mother taught me.

"And this is your fiancé I heard about. Your highness." He bowed to Jason. Jason raised a eyebrow not liking the bowing part about it.

"May I get a picture with you?" I looked at Jason then at him.

"Sure." I got up walking a little out and took a picture with the man.

"Oh thanks toots."

"Excuse me?" He looked at me grabbing my face harshly.

"How about a kiss now?" He said sticking his tongue out. I tried moving my face and pushing him away the guards all rushed over and Jason stood up coming our way. I got out his grip giving him daggers. He looked at me and slapped me.

"I just wanted a kiss." I gasped feeling a sting across my face. A fist came from behind me straight into the guys face soon he was on the ground being handcuffed.

"I'm going to kill him." Jason said lowly but enough for me to hear. Jason pulled him up by the shirt as his hands was behind his back punching the guy in the face repeatedly.

"Jason." I said he gave him one last hit knocking him out.

"Let's go home." I said leaving money on the table. I walked to the car getting in.

"Are you okay?" I nodded.

"I'm fine." I said lowly. The people here are very mean so they not know manners? I shook my thoughts away as we drove off.

They pulled into the driveway parking. Princess was quiet the whole ride thinking about what went down. Jason was curious as to what she was thinking, and if she was okay. She has been stressing and taking shit from everyone. She needed a break and Jason wanted to give her that.

"Dylan." He said lowly. She snapped out of her thoughts looking at him.

"Are you okay?" she sighed nodding her head. She reached for the door handle and opened the door, but stopped before getting out. Jason looked at her. Tears came out her eyes.

"People are mean and rude I did nothing wrong I mean did I ?" He shook his head.

"That's why I will protect you from anything they don't deserve your kindness. She sniffed.

"I want to see you happy not sad or like this, be the princess you are meant to be even if that means being tough to the public, so go put on your bathing suit the rest of the day is about us. Nothing else." She smiled wiping her face. She leaned over pecking his lips.
