CHAPTER ONE

taehyung hums happily along with the theme song, which is dibo, the gift dragon that was playing on the television. but his happy face quickly turns into a frown when the show ends. his eyes went teary and he bites his lip to prevent himself from sobbing. he covers his mouth with his small hands and stares at the television."h-hyung" he cries out, jimin who was in the kitchen heard him and immediately runs to the younger. "shh baby it's alright. what's wrong?" "c-cawtoown ish d-done," he said with his baby voice and his baby talk. jimin cooed at him and ruffles his hair.

"tae, let's eat your medicine" taehyung shows him a confused face, making jimin groan. of course, taehyung didn't know what medicine means. "let's eat yumyum" taehyung shook his head and run to his room. jimin sighs, it's also not easy for him to take care of taehyung. taehyung has a mental disorder ever since he was a child. he and jimin also had been best friend for a long time. they literally do everything together. taehyung's happiness never died, until his parents kicked him out from his house. "he was too hard to take care of," they said. jimin, who loves taehyung as a brother decided to let taehyung live with him. taehyung soon forgets about his parents and he sometimes calls jimin his daddy or mommy.

back to the story, jimin run to taehyung's room. he opened the door, revealing taehyung hugging his big teddy bear and pouting his tremble lip at jimin. his shaky body made the teddy shake as well. jimin went to him and lifts him up. carrying taehyung wasn't hard, especially when taehyung is so light and small. "come on tae, you need to eat the yumyum. after that we can go get ice cream" "ice cream?" jimin nods his head and made taehyung cheered. they went to the kitchen, jimin put taehyung on the safety chair that he specifically made for taehyung. he walks to the refrigerator and takes out the medicine. he pours the liquid on the metal spoon and opens his mouth. taehyung, the naive one copies jimin and also opens his mouth widely. jimin shoves the spoon in taehyung's mouth and taehyung immediately gulps the liquid down his throat. his face scrunches up into a disgusted face, making jimin chuckles and gives him his angry bird bottled water.

"h-hyung? i-ice c-cream"taehyung gives jimin his puppy eyes making jimin rolls his eyes playfully and puts taehyung down from the chair. he takes his things and holds taehyung's shaky hand. they walk out the house, but not before jimin locks it and go to the ice cream parlor. as they walk, taehyung keeps giggling when he see butterflies, dogs or anything that makes him happy. "tae, we are here" they stop in front of the ice cream parlor, taehyung giggles and yanks his hand from jimin's. he dashes inside the parlor, waiting for jimin as his eyes sparkle when he sees his favorite ice cream, he starts to jumps and points his index finger at the ice cream. luckily, jimin has stopped him from jumping too much. he can faint from that and jimin really hate it.

he orders taehyung to sit on a chair, after that he immediately order his and tae's ice cream. taehyung on the other-hand, is playing with his fingers and looking around with his puppy eyes. after a few second, he starts to suck his thumb, making a customer that sit next to him cooes. jimin comes back with taehyung's cream. The ice cream is cutely scooped on the cone, there is also has a cute bunny marshmallow sitting right on top of it. jimin passes the ice cream to him and immediately, taehyung starts licking the cookie and dough ice cream. "how about we eat this at the park?" he asks taehyung and chuckles afterward when taehyung stop licking his ice cream and stares at jimin with ice cream smear all over his mouth. jimin holds onto taehyung's hand and walks out the parlor, they walked to the park that not too far from the apartment.

taehyung keeps licking his ice cream and jimin was playing with his phone. suddenly, taehyung bumps into someone's hard chest and makes him fall on his butt. jimin starts to panic and crouch down at taehyung who whimpers in pain. his eyes become watery, he looks up at the stranger who he bumped and starts to cry when he sees the scary expression on the stranger's face.
