Stumbling through the dark
Heart broken
Searching for a flicker of light
A flicker of hope
Just enough to lead me through the dark
But not enough to blind me with it's light
A gentle flicker that leaves you questioning
The soft hum of the light
Calming me
luring me to a light slumber
A light flicker
That will lead me to not be scared
Of the dark no more
This light flicker will be my home
In this never ending tunnel of darkness
A light flicker that will convince me to stay
And not journey into the light
At the end of the tunnel
Instead I will stay
And bask in the small flickering light
