Sunny entered Rains room curious to know why the doctor was there. He was surprised when he saw the reason.
‘do you know her?’
rain asked him when he saw the shock on his face.
‘yeah I do. What is wrong with her.’
Sunny sounded worried.
‘she is just in shock but she will recover.’
The doctor replied.
‘but someone has to be with her in case of emergency.’
‘ok doc. I will stay with her.’ Rain said.
‘see you then.’
The doctor left. Sunny sat on the bed beside her staring at her.
‘where is her son?’
Sunny asked without taking her eyes of her.
‘he is asleep in one of the rooms. How do you know her.’
‘I met her once at the mall. I’m taking the kid to my room since you will be with her. Take care of her.’
He was filled with emotions rain didn’t believe Sunny had since he never really cared about any girl. Sunny left the room leaving Rain and Rose. He sat beside her stroking her hair and said
‘get well soon rose.’
‘ Nanny no nanny please don’t leave me nanny’
‘Rose Rose….. Rose’
Rain called out trying to wake her up. It was midnight and Rose fever was really high. She was screaming calling her nanny’s name. Rain was doing his possible best to bring her fever down. He held her hand to release her from her pain. That’s an ability not all vampires posses. Those with pure heart do posses it with different others. He managed to calm her down and the fever was going down. She then opened her eyes. She noticed him staring at her with worry in his eyes. She smiled.
‘how are you feeling. Rain asked.
‘a little headache. But after seeing you I'm all better.’ She replied smiling.
‘sleep. we will talk tomorrow.’
‘is this not a dream.’
‘no sleep’
‘okay but promise me you won’t leave.’
‘I promise’
‘thank you Mr. Grumpy’ she then fell asleep.
‘you look beautiful even in your sleep.’ He whispered why stroking her hair.
