Remember the Past? (o2l fan fic)

Chapter 2

"Up, up, and away!" I yell as I jump skipping the last few steps, and thronging the corner. Samantha laughs and follows behind me. It was almost dinner time so we walked into the kitchen.

"What are We having? I ask my mom and grandma, which were in the kitchen preparing starters and side dishes.

"I surprised you can't tell by the smell. You love this dinner." My mom replied.

"Well I do, but, Samantha doesn't, and I didn't ask so I thought I'll ask so i don't sound like a know it all."

"Even if you didn't it wouldn't be the first time." Samantha rolls her eyes and grabs the Stack of plates on the on the counter to set out the plates on the place mats.

"Diners ready!" I hear my dad say loudly.

We all gathered around the table and do what we do every time before we eat, we say grace. Then we all sat down at the table and start eating and socializing with the family. After dinner everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me and when they finished singing I was a little confused.

"Where's the cake!" I exclaimed

"I told you she would notice" my brother whispered a little loudly to my mom.

"Well you see the bakery ran out of cake." My mom said.

"Awww." I say sadly.

"Time for presents!" My brother yell. Everyone gathered around the with their presents in there hands.

Right as I was about to open my first present from my parents, Samantha remembered she forgot part of her present upstairs. She ran up to go grab it she said I could continue opening gifts without her, so I ripped open the gift which was just an envelope. The first thing I pulled out of the envelope, I just stopped looking at them stunned, then I scream so loud and jumped up from the ground.

Ooooo religious parents.

I know this is short I was going to combine chapter 2 and 3 but I just kinda wanted to end on a cliff hanger.

Also idk what you will think of the next chapter. Sorry if you think "chapter 3, this is a little too soon" sorry It kinda just popped into my head.
