Being a figure skater is very hard work, but it's very rewarding. It takes years of training and practice, both off-ice and on-ice. Flexibility, core strength and precision of movement are some of the key things you would need to work on and practice. On the average day, you would be training on-ice and off-ice for several hours and would also need to find time to prepare and eat healthy meals to improve your body's energy resources.
