Dean's P.O.V., 7:30 pm
My heart hammered in my chest, so hard I thought it would jump out on its own. Cas was here, right now, in my impala, wearing dark jeans and a button up shirt, his sex hair making me crazy. I tried to start some small talk, but before I could start, he beat me to it.
"Soo.. Where are you taking me? You didn't specify in your call," He glanced at me curiously. I gulped. Right. The call. I really didn't know what drove me to dial his number, I just remembered Cas' gravelly voice on the other end.
I summoned my confidence and replied, "We are going on a night out on the town, complete with dinner, a movie, and drinks afterward, my treat."
I looked over at him and grinned, flashing the movie star smile I knew could make anyone, man or woman, blush like a teenager. Sure enough, he did, looking down at his lap, a bashful smile on his perfect face.Soon enough we had pulled into a restaurant made for couples, Judy's. I quickly got out, jogging over to the passenger side of the car, opening the door for him. His eyebrows climbed up to his hairline (which I had noticed he does a lot).
"Such a gentleman, Dean," The skepticism clear in his voice. I sighed.
"Look, we got off on the wrong foot and I never wanted to-"
"I was just kidding, Dean, no need to get your panties in a twist," He chuckled. My cheeks went red and my mouth snapped shut. Wordlessly, I swept my hand to the entrance of the restaurant, a smile already back on my face."What movie do you wanna see, Cas?" I looked up from my cherry pie, my fork stilling for only a second before going back to picking up another piece. He tilted his head thoughtfully before responding, "I've heard that the new Spider-Man movie is good, and I love Marvel movies."
"Excellent choice!" I exclaimed, a little too loudly. Other older couples glared at me, aggravated. I was just worried I would have to sit through a Notebook-esque film, utterly bored. I jabbed a thumb in the direction of the other people. "What is this, a library? Sheesh."
Cas giggled, in a totally manly way of course. I noticed he had barely touched his strawberry milkshake. "Are you gonna drink that?"
He shook his head, another small smile gracing his features.
I reached eagerly for it. "Awesome."*after the movie*
"WHAT in the ever loving hell are you saying??" Cas screeched. "How could you say that!"
"Says you!" I shouted, my arms flailing above my head. "How could I not have gotten offended at what you said??"
"Toby McGuire is maybe the worst Spider-Man actor to ever walk this Earth!! Did you not see his ugly-ass crying in the movies?!"
I sighed loudly, a huge breath that attracted weird glances from the other people leaving the movie theater.
"There's obviously a reason that Toby had more movies than Andrew Garfield! I just can't figure out why they called it "The Amazing Spider-Man" when, at best, he was average!!"
At this Cas stopped and put a hand on his chest, leaning backwards, looking completely offended. He scoffed an turned around, adopting this adorable pout look. Seeing that face, I lost it.
I doubled over laughing, holding my sides. I laughed so hard I started to get cramps. After a couple seconds Cas joined in, and soon we were rolling on the concrete sidewalk. We staggered to our feet and I threw my arm around his shoulder.
"I haven't laughed like that in a long time. A really long time."
Cas grinned, putting his arm around me too. We walked like that the whole way to the bar, grinning like fools.
