POETIC GOSPEL

Justice is being held prisoner,
While corruption ravages the country,
Like a mad dog, set on the loose.

Its victims are singing the "Tales of Tyre and Sidon",
As their claims, are slowly becoming the "Genesis of their troubles",
Their woes, hitting the "Gong of Tribulation",
Refuse to be placated,
But Vengeance is on a Vacation.

I can't help but envisage, the "Chronicles of a nation in Chaos",
They promised us change,
But they never told us, this would be a walk through Armageddon.

My heart has been blackened,
By the ashes of the recession,
My soul burns all day, yearning for the wind of change,
My eyes now see the truth,
My ears for years has remained undefiled.

Life is a tour,
But Nigerians have got no guide.
When would change, "CHANGE"?
