Finally, the long awaited sequel to Halo! Yet again, this is another Etrian Odyssey fanfiction, a continuation of the first book titled "Halo". It's taken me a while to really get to this, but I'd been planning it for a while now, I've just been pretty busy.
I'd like to first say that if you haven't read Halo, then you should probably not read this, because you won't have a clue what's going on. That's not my fault, it's your decision to read books out of order, but seriously, find the first book on my bio and read that if you really want to read this.
Second, to repeat what I stated in Halo's disclaimer, for those of you who are not aware, EO (Etrian Odyssey) and it's following saga, is a Nintendo 3DS game, and real talk, I have STILL literally never played it before ever in my life. HOWEVER, I am no longer a complete poverty stricken trailer trash white girl. I'm still white trash of course, that's never gonna change, but I have been blessed with an amazing job I never thought I'd have, and as soon as I'm able, I will be buying a 3DS and as many games as I can get my grubby little hands on so I can binge the EO games until I pass out because I forgot to eat.
This sequel is, of course, dedicated to TheShatteredRose, who bothered to take time out of her life to read Halo and actually enjoyed it. The whole reason I'm writing a sequel is for you, and of course because there aren't enough fluffy gay EO fanfictions. We have the power to change that and we absolutely are! I don't know how often I'll be able to update this since I have work now, but at least while I'm working on it, you'll have something fluffy and gay to look forward to reading!
While I'm writing Historia special for TheShatteredRose, I of course recommend this to all of my readers (as long as you read Halo first), because I don't really think you need to have the knowledge of the game itself to read this. I've never played and I've written a fifty chapter novel based around it. Most of my information has come from the wiki page and Rose herself. I honestly recommend her stories more violently than mine so GO READ HER STORIES AND COMMENT A BAJILLION TIMES BECAUSE SHE DESERVES ALL OF THE LOVE!
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I should drop some acknowledgments and disclaimers:
In the coming chapters please keep in mind that the members of the Guardian's Guild that show up are STILL not mine. Lynus and his friends belong to TheShatteredRose, but I was given permission to use them as occasional side characters to help along the plot of this story (plus it makes her happy when Lynus gets fawned over and it makes me happy too cuz he deserves all the love).

She has a full length novel already completed that focusses around the Guardians, three completed spin-off novellas, a spin-off book of one-shots that's over fifty chapters long now, a profile book where she has a list of official art of her characters followed by a short bio of each, and a Q&A book filled with fun facts and tidbits about the Guardians, as well as all her other characters.

The character shown is originally from something called Toki no Kizuna, which I believe is either an otome game or an anime, but I'm not entirely sure.
In this context, the character on the cover depicts my original character Naylin. Note that the eyes were photo-shopped to be blue, the original piece has golden eyes.
I claim no rights to the photo-shopped blue eyes. I don't own photo-shop and probably would never be able to figure out color manipulation anyway cuz I'm dumb.
I hope to eventually commission the same artist who drew the cover of Halo so I can get official art for Guild Historia, but until she opens those commissions again, I will be using other art to represent my characters.
Guild Halo, Guild Historia, and Guild Bayard, as well as the explorers in those respective guilds, all belong to me.
I think that's all the important stuff. Like with Halo, there definitely won't be a confirmed update schedule at all, especially now. When I was writing Halo I ended up writing like 1-2 chapters a day, sometimes 3, but since I have a job now and spend eight hours a day out of the house (with days off on Saturday and Wednesday), I probably won't update that often. I will update whenever I have a new chapter though.
Although I admit that since I'm writing this special for Rose, I might end up updating a lot regardless of my schedule, because she's awesome and deserves all of the fluff and new chapters.
Chapters will be from 1k to 5k words long, depending on what's happening in the story itself.
Enjoy the book! Feedback is appreciated as always, but not entirely necessary for this book. As long as Rose enjoys it then I'm happy~
