I look down feeling stupid for even getting lost in my mind. Lilly taps me on the shoulder her eyes go quickly to the left then back at me. I look over he's sitting at the table obviously staring at me. I turn around he walks over and sits by us, "Alex right?" Yes hi I say as I'm shaking his hand, I'm Jordan he's says smiling a beautiful smile." What class do you have next" "art," well it looks like we have the same class, I say with a smile.
After school that day we got each other's numbers, and started to talk more. And for once I actually didn't feel alone in this world anymore, I felt like he knew me and understood everything, that's where I made my mistake. Texting moved to calls,which moved to FaceTimes, which of course moved to meeting up. We started to hangout a lot and we grew to be really really close. I liked it being close with someone. He was a great guy with a funny personality who slowly brought me back to myself .
We spent everyday together after school, but my mom still didn't seem to notice she never does anymore, but while I was with him he helped me my grades went up and I tried out for cheerleading and got on the squad.
It was perfect one night he called me, it was around midnight and I was just beginning to fall asleep, so I picked up of course, he was in straight tears I hung up got in the car. When I got to his house I walked in the living room and kitchen was a mess I ran upstairs into his room and held him. He didn't tell me what happened and I wasn't going to ask. The marks on his face shoulder and neck told me everything I needed to know. So did the empty beer bottles on the floor of the kitchen,so I held him and hugged him until he was better for the night.
