Chapter 1: Business was never such a good thing

Jace's POV
"Alec hurry up before I leave you here!" I shouted walking toward the hotel room door.
"Ok ok I'm coming!" Shouted my beta Alec as he ran out of the bathroom that connected our rooms.
I rolled my eyes and tried to keep from laughing as he finished putting on his shoes while trying to walk at the same time.
"Don't you dare laugh at me Jace. I don't care if your the Alpha I'll still beat the crap out of you."
Turning around to hide the smile that crept its way onto my face, I started walking out the door.
It's almost a thirty minute trip to where I wanted to have breakfast.
When we walked in I smelled something that was absolutely amazing. My wolf wouldn't shut up about something but I tuned him out and blamed the smell on me being starving.
After we ordered Alec asked "Dude do you smell the amazing sent?"
"Yes I do but I thought it was just food. Is your wolf screaming something at you too?"
"Yeah Zack won't leave me alone."
"Maybe we should hear what they have to say?"
"Ok how bout you ask Sean and I'll ask Zack?"
"Sounds good."
Sean?

What were you trying to tell me when we walked in and what is that amazing smell?
Mate!!
WHAT?! WHERE IS SHE?!
GO FIND MATE!
With that I shut off the connection and started looking around. I noticed Alec doing the same. I looked toward that back of the room to see two girls. One had bright red hair.
MATE!!
Sean was yelling that over and over as I looked at her.
"Mine." I growled it out. She jumped and looked me in the eyes.
You scared our mate
I didn't mean too
I got up and walked over to her. I barely notice Alec walking over to the girl on the other side of the table. As I walked over to her she seemed to shrink in her seat.
Why is she scared of us?
"Hello gorgeous what is your name?" I asked her looking at her beautiful face with love.
"M-m-my n-n-am-e is S-s-carlet."
She stuttered looking at me in fear; she knew who I was.
"I'm Alpha Jace. It's nice to meet you Scarlet. I assume you know why I'm over here."
"Y-yes."
"Then why?"
"I'm y-your m-m-ate."
"Correct you don't have to be scared of me little mate I won't hurt you."
She was so little. I was afraid I might hurt her. But she had a body blessed with curves.
Mark her make her ours. I can't wait to feel her soft skin. Her pretty pink lips would look so much better around...
Enough we will have time for that later Sean.
With that I cut off the link to look at her.
"Okay do you want to come with me now? We can go and get your stuff." I asked in as soft and comforting a voice I could as I keeled down to her level. She wouldn't look in my eyes any more.
"Y-yea w-w-we can."
I picked her up and carried her out to the rental car. She was so perfect in my arms.
