The people who ran the so called gang were violent about their members. They killed ones that wanted to leave, or ones that helped innocent victims escape. Even though Misfit and Necrosis loved causing death and destruction, what they were doing was making them sick and pissed off. "God damn it Necrosis, they think they own us. They think they control us and what we do. I can't do this any more." Misfit said as they were talking among themselves. "I know Misfit, this is insane, they think they are some, religious saviors. I know we don't believe in that shit. Too many years of doing what ever we can to ensure we continue our survival." Necrosis reassured Misfit but he wasn't having it. "The sick fuck thinks he can use our blood for his freaks, the one he has me torturing, i can't continue this shit. Once we take them out, we bring her with us and we leave." Misfit grunted as he hit the metal tank.
Soon after they took the young lady out of the compound. Stealing one of the operating vehicles on their way out, they packed their belongings and left. When they were clear they blew up the gas tanks and burned all of the gang alive. The young lady could not speak after the damage done to her by the gang and what the fact that they forced Misfit to torture her as well. They tried to heal her with the gift but the damage was too great and since it was done before the immortality was given, it couldn't heal. The sick bastards didn't even give her a name, so they gave her one "Alice, i have always been a fan of Alice in wonderland." Misfit said as he smiled, she smiled and nodded in agreement. "Great, she loves the name and it fits" Necrosis smiled and sat there on the hood of the truck.
Days after escaping the compound and destroying it, Alice watched how Misfit was working on his robotic arm. It was rare that their faces were shown but she was happy to see their faces, showing that they still had a human side to them. Necrosis was digging spider eggs out of his face as they had died. "Those spiders bothered me so bad." Misfit smiled and laughed as he was already cleared of them. "Where to now, brother, sister?" Misfit asked as he finished up his robotic works. Alice soon imitated the Statue of Liberty to the best of her ability "New York it is. I love that place." They shared a nice smile and laugh as they packed up and headed for New York.
Along the way, they had made several stops, for food, water and fuel. Often playing road games as they didn't have much to do. Hours turned into days as they continued to drive, soon they had arrived at the state signs for New York, Alice watched in wonder as they looked at the landscape. "Where are all the buildings?" Alice asked, having not known that New York City was just a small section of the state "We're not in the big city yet, but we will be soon enough." Necrosis smiled as he puffed on his cigar while he drove. By the end of the night, they had reached the City limits, finding a nice area to park and take up residence in.
