POV: Sacha
Looking out the window, I came face to face with the dark, dull sky. The heavy dark grey clouds made it seem like it wasnt even summer, but even that couldnt break my euphoric mood now. The SH SAT was finally over and I wouldnt have to take another test till next year. To celebrate my freedom i am at a party with my friends.
"Hey Sacha, what time are you leaving" my boyfriend, Ryan, said as he let himself in the room I was in.
" Im leaving in about fifteen min. Do I look okay" I say while looking in the mirror at myself? I am so bad at doing hairstyles and it never comes out the way I want it to be.
" You look beautiful as always" he says.
" Of course you'll say that. Your my boyfriend. Im going to ask Rachel" I said while smiling at him. I left the room to go ask Rachel. She said the same thing as Ryan did. When I returned to the room, Ryan was laying on the bed looking on his phone. As soon as he saw me, he put his phone in his pocket.
" Welcome back beautiful" he said while looking at me. I smiled and went over to sit next to him.
" Do you want me to give you a ride home" he says?
I say " No, im fine walking. When are you going to leave"?
" Whenever your crazy brothers ready to leave. Are you sure you dont want me to give you a lift home? You shouldnt be walking outside in the dark by yourself Sacha" he says.
" Ryan, I have been walking home by myself for years now. I have walked to and from school everyday and ill do it for the thousandth time. These legs work fine.
"Ok ok Sacha. I am just worried about you.
" You dont have to be worried and by the way I am going to leave now" I say while laughing. I gave him a hug, then left. It was really dark outside and the only light I had was the street lights. I opened the gate to the cemetery and started walking through it. Then all of a sudden I hear a voice saying "Hi Sacha". I jumped cause I didnt see any thing. Then my friend Michael popped up.
"Hey Michael. What are you doing at this time of night" I said. Is he stalking me? Why is he here? He looked down at his feet in sadness.
" I came to visit my sister. She died of cancer three weeks ago. She was only nine years old" he said in a sad voice. His voice started to crack and he fell to the ground crying. I knelt down and hugged him.
"Im always here for you. If you need to talk to someone about anything im here. I have to go now" I said. I feel really bad for him.
He said " Thank you Sacha. You were always a great friend. I dont know what I would do without you. Well bye". I waved goodbye and started to walk toward my house. I got onto my porch and when I was taking out my keys my friend Nicky came running towards me.
"Have you seen Dawn lately" she asked me?
I said "no I havent seen her since this morning. I just came from a party with some friends".
"Dam it. Dawn ran off after another fight with Brandon. Her phone is off" Nicky said.
"Really? She needs to break up with him. They are always having fights and Dawn is always getting hurt. Well you go left and ill go right. Nicky saluted and said " Yes ma'am". I giggled and started walking to the right. I decided to go look in the big baseball field. I was looking around for her but I didnt see anyone. I reached the baseball stadium. I decided to in and see if she was sitting on one of the benches. I went in, but then I felt a presence behind me. I turned around and saw a tall man.
" Sapphire" the man said.
" Im sorry you must have been mistaken. My name is Sacha. Is Rose missing? Is she your daughter?" I said with a trembling voice. I was so nervous cause I didnt know what to do.
"Sapphire, Sapphire" the man said repeating.
Im not Sapphire" I yelled at him. He started walking towards me and I starting running away. I tripped over a rock and fell on my face. I think that I just twisted my ankle and The man catched up to me and picked me up. He walking over to a white van and opened the back door.
