Oh, Simon

Part 1

Hey. This my first fanfic. I just love Saphael and fatherly Alec and Magnus.

              Raphael could smell smoke before he opened the door. He had just come back from a long meeting in Paris. Paris was nice, but he missed his clan and home, Of course, his trouble magnet  mate had him eager to come home as well. Since they realized that their unrequited love, wasn't really unrequited they got together. It has only been a couple months ,but the two were happy.

As he walked through the hallway to find out what was going on, he passed Lily, his second-in-command. She looked at with a face full of worry, before mouthing the name Simon. Raphael's own face filled with worry as well. Lily's hints lead him to believe that Simon was distressed in some way. While walking closer to their shared suite he could hear Simon talk to himself.

"Come on, Simon. You can't even make a simple Spaghetti sauce. You didn't even start the noodles before you messed up. Gosh your such-"

"Simon?", The lanky brunette lifted his gaze from the blue substance he was  trying to clean from off the stove and floor.

" Raphy, your home! Your early to... The kitchen is a mess but, its not as bad as it looks. Well, maybe it is. I know kinda messed-", Letting the younger vampire ramble on Raphael took the time to observe his surroundings. There was an burnt blue substance everywhere on the cooking area. The cupboards, the stove, the floor -literately everywhere. Simon was in the middle of it all, looking helpless and ram. Raphael sped to the other boy and placed one hand behind his head and the other over his mouth.

"Calmesa, mi amour.", Simon only knew the last part of what the eldest had said, but he still calmed down without any resistance.

"Now tell me whats going on.", Simon didn't answer instead he fiddled with the edge of his shirt in hope that he would  just get a lecture and would never have to speak about it again. But, Raphael was determined to get an answer.

"Simon" ,Raphael lifted Simon's head forcing him to make eye contact.

"I'm sorry. I'll clean it all up, I swear! ", Simon tried to twist away ,but the shorter of the two held him firmly by his shoulders. Signing in defeat, he mumbled an answer. Raphael raised an eyebrow.

I'm afraid even my enhanced hearing couldn't pick that up.", Simon spoke a little louder.

"I was trying to cook, but it didn't work out." , Raphael rolled his eyes.

"I can see that. However, what I want to know is why."Raphael rolled his eyes and looked down to see if Simon stepped on whatever was on the floor. He had.

"Take off your shoes and come.",Knowing he had no choice, he did as he was told and followed his lover to their living room. Raphael sat on his leather couch and thought about what could be going on. Them being vampires, obviously they didn't eat that type of thing.

"Why are you cooking? Is it something for the shadowhunters or perhaps one of your dog friends?" Knowing that Raphael would press on till gets what he wants, he gave up.

"Magnus got hurt saving me... again. Every time I do something stupid, which is 99% of the time, someone gets hurt. I overheard that Magnus liked pasta, so I was trying to make it up to him.", He kept his head down the whole time he confessed.

"Simon, I know for a fact that Magnus would die for you. I know he would do the same thing for Alec and -"

" You! Yes, I know that, but I'm not you. He wouldn't die for me like he would for you. For godsakes, he doesn't even remember my name. Now, I got him poisoned by a rare were-snake. I hate snakes." Brown eyes met their boyfriend's, mournfully. However, those eyes were filled with anger.

"Idiota. Como see puede ser tan Idiota?   Simon, how can you honestly say that about Magnus. Of course, he remembers your name. He's just teasing you. Before, you rudely interrupted me I was going to say that he would do the same for me. He sees and treats me like a little brother, but you he treats like a son." , Simon opened his mouth to speak, but Raphael put his finger on his mouth before he could.," Magnus wouldn't do half the things he does for you if he didn't feel that way. How can you not see? He always checking on you and making sure you're cared for whether I'm here or not. He helps with your nightmares. The only reason he is hurt right now is that he purposely puts himself between you and anything that could harm you. Simon, he took you and Alec to Universal City last month! Mi amour, he loves you and he wouldn't want you to feel this way."

"You think so?"

"No. I know so.", Raphael let his younger boyfriend move away. Simon leaned back on the couch; his eyes studied the cracks on the ceiling.

"But-"

"No buts, Simon." He reached over to grab a chunk of Simon's hair and pulled him back over to make eye contact." I know for sure that Magnus doesn't want you to feel that way. Even I have to admit your a little charming, and that's coming from me. However, Magnus thinks of you as his bebe and would do anything for you. You even managed to worm your way into Alex's heart-"

" I know for a fact that Alec can't fricken stand me." Simon jerked away and crossed his arms, angrily. "He gives zero shits about me. Have you noticed that I keep getting his boyfriend hurt, because I pretty sure he did.", Raphael signed, before taking out his phone.

" Fine. If you don't believe me, he will have to tell you himself.",Simon eyes and mouth widened in surprise, instantly.

"Wait. What. No!", The elder paid no attention to his partner and listened to the phone ring.

"Hello, Magnus we need a portal."
