There's something about him. He's...jaded. Almost like there's this darkness inside of him and honestly it scares the shit out of me. I don't know how to deal with it anymore. Every time I try to run from him he just finds me again and it's getting tiring. I'm not this girl. I'm not bad, or a rebel, or even confident. But at the same time I'm not some perfect, beautiful girl who is going to ride away on a white horse with her Prince Charming. It's just not going to happen. I mean it's pretty obvious since the only guys I seem to attract are assholes. And who am I kidding anyway I don't even "attract" guys. I'm not the prettiest tool in the shed if you know what I mean.

"Faye?"
I come back to the current moment with Wesley snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"The movies staring," he says.
My eyes move up to his, then peel away to look at the screen.

Halfway into the movie the sun is setting and I start to shiver furiously. I try not to let Wesley see. I don't want to appear weak. But come on I didn't even have time to get properly dressed because he practically kidnapped me from my home. I'm still wearing a shirt, nike shorts, and my vans. I decide to just ignore the cold and carry on with watching the movie.
Wes begins to notice my teeth chattering (even after all my work to hide it). He scoots his chair a little closer to mine, to the point where the armrests are touching.
He leans impossible close to my face and whispers, "I knew you were freezing since you first started shivering. All you have to do is ask for my jacket." I feel him smile against my cheek.
Right after the words left his mouth a large breeze swept past and it became too much to bare.
I clenches my teeth. "Fine. May I have you're jacket."
I hear his chuckle but don't bother to look over at him.
"No. You can't."
I snarl at his words and finally get the guts to look into his eyes. God he is such a prick. Seriously that's just a dick move.
Before I can speak again he opens up his pricky mouth once again.
"If I give it to you then I'll be cold too."
I hate all that damn sarcasm in his voice.
"But we could always compromise." This time he speak a little lower.
Again, I don't respond, but I just scoot my chair away from his and watch the movie. A hand grabs the armrest and pulls the chair back. I grimace. I'm sick of Wes pulling me around all the time.
All the sudden Wes stands up and walks a few feet over to his car. He pulls out a blanket and lays it on the ground next to the chairs. As he sits down on it he says, "come here and we can share my jacket."
"Well why can't I just have the blanket."
"Because I said so." His expression falls a bit.
I scoff and look away, but screech when I feel his arm around my waist, tugging me to the ground.
"Stop it!"
My loud declaration causes the other movie watchers to stare at us. I calm down in order to get their attention off of me.
"Or I could just get boss to fire you from the shop."
I gasp inside my head.
"You fucking wouldn't."
He just smirks. "Or would I?"
I silently lie my body down on the blanket, facing the screen.
His arm once again snakes around my waist, fingers pressing into my stomach, pulling me closer to him.
And you want to know the worst part about it?...
I was relieved to have the warmth
