During my Europe travels, I have gained something that I didn't have much of before. Confidence. I gained a little on England and a lot in Paris. Partly because in Paris, when you have to go to the restroom, there's no public restrooms anywhere, so you have to walk into some restaurant, acting like you own the place, and find one. Another reason is because 90% of them treat Americans like trash and you have to stand up for yourself. Also in Europe, when you're in line for things, people tend to push through the line and get to the front, so I didn't want to be a doormat and let everyone push me, I stood my ground and it kept people back where they should've stayed in the first place. I did things with confidence, I never thought I could do. Confidence is beautiful in many ways, and we all gain a little bit more as we go on in life.
