(Like and comment for part 2!)

You shake the sweat from your drenched bangs and took a swig of your drink- a vodka soda with a wedge of lime. It was a crazy party but then again, Summer is known for her intense gatherings. You’d been forced into a tight, sequin-lined black dress, the fabric suffocating you. You paw at the neckline. Halters always made you uncomfortable since you liked to show off your sharp, jutting collarbone. It drove Rick crazy.

The delicate glass of the sliding door felt pleasantly cool against your hot skin so you lean your exposed back against it, wishing you could just go outside and graze your feet on the soft grass. Your boots were killing you- not that it mattered anyway. Summer had explicitly barred people from opening the backyard door since it would let the dogs in.

You minded your own business, your vodka buzz turning into a full assault on your motor movements and good judgment. Rick hadn’t told you where he’d gone but he was with Morty and that made you feel somewhat safe.Still, you wish Rick was here spending time with you instead of leaving your drunken ass to fend for itself. One of Summer’s high school classmates had tried to get your number but you waved him off. If Rick knew you were even at this party, he’d have your head. He didn’t like anyone else looking at his..his property. Especially when she showed off her taut, slender figure to everyone else but him.

“Reader!”

You cock your head towards the crowd to find who was calling out to you. Summer saunters toward your direction, a top hat in hand and from what you could tell from five feet away, it was filled with various trinkets presumably belonging to the male half of this soiree.

Your breath hitched, nervous about Summer’s intentions.

You decide to play dumb. “Hi Summer. Nice hat.”

She purses her lips at you, seeing right through your game. “It’s not for wearing. Pick one.”

She shakes the hat, making noise from the assortment inside it.

“I think I’ll pass. I’ve had a..a little too much to drink and I don’t think I can make sound decisions right now.” You slur pleadingly.

Without even letting you finish your drunken speech, Summer thrusts your loose hand into the hat, putting you on the spot. You can feel several eyes on you, burning into your skin. Since college sophomore year, every person has learned never to say no to Summer Smith.

According to your vast conversations with both Rick and Morty, Summer had fought tooth and nail to get to the top of the food chain and now everyone is at her disposal. Not that she was unkind, just fiercely determined with a knack of getting what she wants when she wants. Just like her grandfather. Your fingers claw at the knickknacks, your brain panicking to buy you more time. Rick had a way of knowing things and when he's crossed, it's never pretty.

Summer stares you down, oblivious to your panic. You can't blame her for forcing you. She's only trying to get you to have fun, to hook you up with a nice guy since she doesn't know about your trysts with Rick (and you want to keep it that way because there's no explaining why you're fucking a man almost three times your age). You pull out a chain with three round balls attached to it-an anklet, and you wave it at Summer's face. Your small audience dissipates now that you’ve succumbed to her will but you feel anxiety building up in your belly. Something unpleasant is going to happen and you can’t help but feel that it will be your fault.

Summer takes your hand and guides you into her parents’ room on the second floor. You pass Rick’s room and you can’t help but blush. He’s done unspeakable, delicious things to you and it seemed wrong to be thinking about them now because you were with Summer.
