Bittersweet Love (L x Light) (Temporarily discontinued)

Chaper 1

A/N: Hi and thank you for reading my story! I just wanted to let you know the chapters my be short and that is because I'm very lazy. But if they are short there might be more.

Light was sitting at his desk studying but he couldn't stop thinking about that notebook he had found earlier that day. It seemed so strange... and it seemed to fall out of the sky he thought. Light got his backpack out and reached into it as soon as he touched it, somebody started laughing out of nowhere. He turned around and saw a weird...thing he didn't know what to call it. "Hello there Light, I am Ryuk. I am a shinigami"  "A...what?!" Light sounded surprised "What are you, hard of hearing?. I said I'm a shee-nee-ga-mee." "I heard you the first time I just couldn't believe it..." "Well believe it. Oh and by the way you're the only one who can see me so you shouldn't talk to me in front of people. Unless of course they've touched the notebook." " What do you mean by that?" "I mean that you can touch someone with the notebook, a piece of the notebook, they can touch the notebook or they can touch a piece of the notebook instead of you touching them with it."

*Several minutes of explaining later*

"Okay Ryuk I think I get it now, but... I still have to test it out to be sure it works."
Light opened his computer and started looking through a list of criminals " the rules said that if the cause of death is not specified then the victim will die of a heart attack in 40 seconds."
Light mumbled to himself. "Therefore if I were to write someone's name and leave it there in 40 seconds they will just die of a heart attack and everyone will think it was just an accident."  Light pulled out his pen and wrote down the name of a criminal that was supposed to be executed that night. Light turned on the news "and this criminal was supposed to be executed tonight! What a coincidence!"

*Time skip to when the task force met L ( because I'm lazy and I know you guys probably don't want to hear it)*

"Bang"
"Huh? What was that for?" "If I were Kira you would be dead right now"
