The Sibuna gang's heads turned to their one another as they process what they've just been told. The fear roaming over them. Being more cautious than they ever were in any moment.

"Last mystery? Freedom?" K.T. mumbled.

" yeah I don't understand." Said Nina as she moved forward.

Grabbing himself a chair the man sat down in a nearby corner. " It's as I said. This is the last mystery in order to gain your freedom from this house." He explained.

None of this was making sense to the young Anubis graduates. In fact this was all to preposterous for their minds to comprehend at this point in time. "Sorry, but could you repeat that again sir?" Fabian replied.

"You didn't think that once you graduate and leave the halls of Anubis you'd be scott free from all these curses did you?"

They gasped. It could be heard through the halls of Anubis house as their minds shuffle, contemplating their next move on the matter.

"Who are you? And why in hell should we believe you?" Jerome finally butted in.

Laughing as he rises from his seat. The man that was once embedded into the darkness has finally emerged into the light. "Hi! It's a pleasure to meet you all." He said taking his hat off as he bowed in there presence." Names Matt, and to answer your question Jerome you should trust me simply because I'm the only one who can guide you through this task; and besides is that how you treat your uncle."

They all looked at the man dumbfounded. Jerome more in shock and a little bit speechless than the rest." Your my what!?!"

"Your uncle." Matt replied.

"Okay but none of this explains why the Cup isn't here." K.T. stated.

With one devilish smirk Matt continued. " The seven ankh pieces have been scattered once more. This time across the UK."

" scattered? How can they be scattered if the cup was locked up all this time and no-one knew about it?" Patricia rambled.

" Sadly that's Nina's fault."as Matt's words fled his lips Nina froze.

Seeing as her best friend was to shock to ask Amber took it upon herself to do so. "What do you mean?"

" Just like I said little one. Because she was unable to return and the eye was not with her. Someone dismantled the cup and in order to protect itself the ankh pieces scattered."

" But I had no choice if I would of came back my friends would've been on the line." Nina spatted as she took another step forward.

Matt laughed once more. " And who told you that?... Isis?" Nina's eyes went wide. " Oh my dear Nina, darling why would one of the most powerful goddess who's the daughter of the skies, sister and wife to Osiris tell the chosen one- the Osirian's best friend- not to come back knowing all well the evil that was going to arise that term?" He questioned.

It was in that moment that all the confidence that our chosen one once had just went straight through the window. "OMG!"she gasped.

" By not coming you endangered them ten fold and that's what she wanted. Not only did the cup scattered, and the world almost ended up in chaos but the Osirian was injured. As you are aware not everyone around the eight of you is all for having a chosen one so close to home. I have the first clue right here." Matt explained waving said clue in his hand.

Taking the clue from his hand Eddie began to read it aloud. " Because of jealousy my father died and with only jealousy he shall rise."

" What the heck does that mean?" Asked a confused Alfie.

As this was asked Matt smiled. " Good luck!"sending his wishes he was off as quickly as he came.

"Wait!" Fabian shouted. " where did he go?"

" Don't know! But we have a clue to figure out....Sibuna?" Eddie replied.

"Sibuna!" They all said except for one."Nina?" Fabian called.

" Oh right! Sibuna." She said raising her left hand over her left eye.

This didn't mean she was okay. In fact she had no idea what was going on anymore. Nina zoned out after hearing how it was her fault and how she was just tricked by a god. The young chosen one trying to stay positive. But no matter how hard she had tried it just wouldn't work. This was all her fault. One stupid mistake she thought was right and now it was going to cost her friends their lives.

You would of thought that after all the curses and challenges they had faced together she would of realized by now how strong willed she was. But that was just it, no matter how you put it. It was clear. She was scared. She didn't know what she was going up against. And not knowing is all you need to know in order to know fear. Regardless of who she was, what she was. Chosen one or not Nina Martin was still human and she was scared.

But what did you expect when living as an Anubis resident?... for it to be easy? Sorry that wasn't written in the Egyptian's dictionary.

Well damn Matt you could of been little more subtle when telling the girl ? Sheesh!

😂 Hey guys ! I'm back. I was on hiatus because I was trying to decided whether or not to bring Matt in now or wait till someone was hurt. But I'm here and the next chapter will be put up next week Sunday. So not this Sunday but the following.
