Miles POV:
Regaining consciousness, I blankly look at my surroundings. Demented patients. Note that the word mutated springs to mind.It really smells in here, like rotting flesh and blood. Not only is it significantly dangerous, loose floor boards and more, there's also a couple of violent psychos in the other cell. Not only that but they look hungry... for flesh.
I look down. My boots are splattered in blood, but I don't care, I only want to get out of here, what have I ever done to deserve this?
Variant 1 POV:
I almost feel sorry for the guy, but it's own fault no offence to him, did he not know this hospital was... mutated?
My mental state takes control again and I angrily punch the floor boards and bite at the other mutated guy next to me. Blood streamed down his leg, he screamed in pain, making the explorer in the other cell cover his ears and sob in the corner of his cell. These people (that aren't alive anymore) who mutated us called us variants because that was quite literally what we are. Variants of human beings. We are like trapped inside our minds, but we can't do anything except being aggressive and disordered on the outside. One of the worst things is that we are cannibals, as I just displayed.
Miles POV:
That's just disgusting, one of the variants just took a bite out of the other guys meat leg, now oozing with blood. I cover my ears as he shrieks in pain, now beating the other variant to a pound.
Desperately, I claw and rip at the floor boards, undoing the nails, trying to find a way to escape. It was pointless, I may as well let nature take its course, I knew I was destined to die at young age.
*CRASH!*
"Oh sh**!"
