Sasuke exited his work building, taking a deep breathing of the cold crisp November air. Itachi was supposed to be picking him up but because he had college classes, he probably end up being late. He watched his blonde step out of the diner, an orange scarf around his neck as he slipped his phone into his pocket. He watched Naruto stop at the crosswalk, waiting for the sign on the other side to light up with the person walking to signal that he can cross. The light lit up white, signalling that he could cross the street, however he didn't make it. Before his left foot even touched the ground, a car ran the red light and hit his leg. A sharp pain ran threw the blonde's left leg, the impact causing him to spin sideways, his leg coming out from underneath him. It all felt as if it was in slow motion. He fell, the impact sending his head back into the concrete.

Sasuke's eyes widened at the sight. The car didn't even stop to see if he was alright. The raven ran over, pulling out his phone in the process so he could take a picture of the license plate. He snapped a few pictures before the car turned the corner, hopefully the pictures weren't blurry because in his panicked state, they probably were. The Uchiha quickly opened up his dial pad and called the police. He gave his location as well as the situation before hanging up and focusing on Naruto.

"Hey dobe, stay awake," the raven gently smacked his cheek, not hard enough to hurt him anymore than he already was but just enough to get his attention.

"Sasuke...? why does by leg hurt so bad?" the blonde asked sluggishly as he turned his head to look at his surroundings. He seemed totally out of. "What happened?" he asked finally. His mind hadn't registered what happened.

Sasuke watched, pulling the blonde's scarf of so he could use it to put pressure on the blood that was dripping down his leg. Naruto's entire left leg was scrapped and cut from the impact of the car. "You got hit by a car, you'll be alright though," the raven reassured. Before Naruto had time to answer, police sirens as well as ambulance sirens approached them, stopping near by. Sasuke looked up to see two paramedics race over with a gurney. They dropped the gurney down and gently raised him onto it. Sasuke followed after them to the ambulance.

"Are you family?" one of the paramedics asked, not letting him on just yet.

"No but he has no family, I'm just a friend," the raven replied, "don't think you're leaving without me though," he warned, pushing past the paramedic and taking his seat on one of the few seats. The ride was fairly short and when they arrived, Naruto was pulled into an room, a few doctors following after them. He recognized one of them as Naruto's grandma, Tsunade.

One of the other doctors dragged him back to the waiting room where he waited for another two hours. He got a call from his brother during that time asking where he was and after explaining the situation, Itachi drove down to the hospital to wait with him. After their wait, Naruto's grandma came down the hallway and stopped in front of them. "It's good to finally see you again Sasuke," she nodded in respect, "you too Itachi."

"How's Naruto?" Sasuke asked, interrupting Itachi and not ever bothering to greet her.

She sighed, "he's better, aside from a couple cuts, he has a mild concussion and a dislocated hip," she answered, "I thank you Sasuke, if it weren't for you, it could've been worse."

Sasuke nodded in response, "no need to thank me, but can I see him?" he asked anxiously.

Tsunade raised a brow at his anxiousness but nodded, motioning for them to follow her as she turned and strode down the hallway. The two brother's followed after her, the younger of the two hoping that Naruto wouldn't figure out that he was the admire and hoping that he wouldn't be in any pain.
