Till All Are One (Transformers Legends) Book 4

Authors Note (A MUST READ!)

Hey everyone, it's me Madalyn from the Transformers Titans! Or as all you wattpadders like to call me, PrincessAura273. 

So here's the dealo:

As you know I haven't updated this story for about nearly 2 months. But from my point of view and long days, and busy schedules, it felt a lot longer than that.

The last time I updated this story was March 28th of this year (2014). This book is the fourth instalment  of my Transformers Legends series based off the app game with the same name. 

Book number 1 has over 3,400 reads, which makes me really happy that you appericiated that book. :)

Book number 2 has over 1,100 reads, which is just as good :)

Book number 3 has nearly 850 reads which I suppose is okay.

But it's this book that I'm worried about. This one only has nearly 230 reads. 

A while ago I posted a message on my message board asking people if they stopped reading the book because it was getting old? or they just didn't like it anymore.

This is what I said: 

"I know this is sort of coming out of nowhere but I just thought I should get this out. I feel like you guys don't like my Transformers Legends Series anymore. Book 1 was a great success! Over 2,000K reads and growing! Awesome right? But now take a look at the views that books 2 and 3 got. 472-694 reads. Those two books didn't do as well as book 1 did.

I started book 4 and it has 42 reads so far. I sometimes feel that two of my greatest Wattpad friends @StormFireGirl and @endless__dreamer are the only ones reading this series.

Do you guys not like it? If you guys think that I need to improve them to make them better, you guys can tell me! It's okay, I love hearing different peoples opinions. I was also thinking about a second series and already have a few of the characters ready. So for those of you who have found time to read this, thank you. I really appreciate that. I truely believe that this series (As well as my TFP stories) are what gained all of my followers and I'd hate to lose that edge. So if you guys have any suggestions about improving this series and ideas for series 2 don't hesitate to message me. Thank you :)"

Of course the reads have gone up since then, but I felt down that day. I felt like with the views down, there was no point in continuing this series.

@TransformersDino - Your Stories Are Awesome. Some People Mit Not Be Able To Read Them As Fast As Other People, I'm One Of Those People. 

@StormFireGirl - hey! I think theyre good. Im just busy with my own work or I forget to read them. But basically, its the same at my end. Project Red has gotten almost 16000 reads and votes, but my others dwindled under 5000. so chin up!

@TFASGAwriter - My best advice is; Give. it. time. Don't expect it to come immeatedly. I try not expecting the unexpected (which I succeed doing that :D ) Because readers will crawl and browse around the web, if you write about the same legends over and over, I'm willingly to bet users will start slacking reading and just wait until it's done.  If you continuously keep writing about TFP then you miiiggghttt get into a dead end. Try writing about a different transformers universe every so often.  Some readers can get bored. Yes. I mean bored of the same thing. Some books don't take 1 month to reach 1,000 reads or 100 votes. Some books are just lucky if they get a lot of votes/comments/reads on their first month. You just need to advertise and work on it and enjoy yourself. :) Your usual readers are taking a probably lonnnggg break. xD  They'll probably want to read what you write sooner or later. c: If you add too many characters, your readers will lose track of who's who. Just a piece of advice I go from a friend of mine. This advice will work good for you by the sounds of it. 

@JakeAshStrife - One thing I have learned from more than a dozen years of writing is that you should not write depending on if someone 'likes' something or not.

You're a writer. You write to entertain. And if even just ONE person enjoys a piece of works, and you make them laugh, smile, cry, get angry or whatever, does it not make it worth it?

I personally don't really read fan fictions. I prefer stories that are original. I like the stuff you write about, sure, but it isn't as satisfying as if it were real canon to the storyline.

If I can offer ANY advice it would be as follows:

Try your hand at more original series. Fan fiction is kinda like a crutch for the creativity in our minds. A lot of us start with it, but those who truly wish to entertain eventually evolve and bring us their own worlds, characters and storylines...

And if you don't already, tweet the hell out each chapter link. Sometimes people don't read things because they don't know about them.

OVERALL when you write and enjoy yourself--THAT is the most important thing in the world. If you try to fan tailor things you aren't being true to yourself or your creativity! 

Be the writer the world deserves--not the one they want you to be!

That last one really caugh my attention. I mean sure I want to try original works. I do. But I think I'm more of a FanFiction writer. It just seems more fun to me right now. 

Now as for the actual advice he gave me, I live by that now. I write because I want to write. But I also want to write to make you guys happy. So I took the originality idea, and after a while, I posted this:

"I've decided that after book 4 when I start series 2 of Transformers Legends, it will be my own thing. So my own ideas, characters, plot, the whole deal. Since series 1 (books 1-4) is a crossover of Bakugan, its only fair if I make my own twist with this story. And maybe then the series will get more reads xD"   

I was actually starting to lose hope on this story I really was. I was planing on making second series because I thought this was doing so well. But when I saw the read count, I felt my heart sank. But thanks to all of your advice, I have come down to this.

THERE IS NO SLAGGIN' WAY THAT, IN THE NAME OF PRIMUS, I AM THROWING THIS SERIES AWAY INTO THE TRASH!

I started this thing and I intend to finish it! Although it wouldn't hurt to get a few more reads for this? Maybe just 1,000? Pretty please? :3

Okay, that's all I needed to say. So I think I'll finish it off with the way I started this whole thing.
