Ashlynn

There were several telephone boxes around Whitehall, and it took them several tries before they found he correct one behind the building. Which each non magical telephone box, their nerves grew until Ashlynn was certain at best they would be returning without their memories, if they even made it in at all. Seamus was hardly more confident, but Ashlynn was grateful that he pretended for her her sake. She might be a super, but she was used to having the comfort of her powers beside her. At least she had her nunchucks tucked into her jacket. When it became clear that her powers weren't meant for fighting, her parents had made her take self defense classes, just in case. Not that she'd ever had to use them, but it paid to be safe. The nunchucks were made of wood, beautifully carved and coated in a magic resistant substance from home. They were one of the few possessions she had been able to grab before she left. Ashlynn sincerely hoped they could protect her against the magic of ministry wizards as well.

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please state your name and business." A cool female voice floated through the box.

"Ashlynn Scarlett and Seamus Gorman, ambassadors from the Pixar universe." A pause. Then a single name tag appeared. "Ashlynn Scarlett, Pixar Ambassador"

"Welcome, Ashlynn Scarlett. Please take the badge and attach it to the front of your robes. Seamus Gorman, please step out of the elevator. In accordance with the International Statute of Secrecy, Muggles are strictly forbidden."

"He's with me." No response. She tried again. "Seamus Gorman is the representative of the muggles of the Pixar universe and as such no interuniversal treaty or trade agreement can be reached without his attendance." Ashlynn tried to make her tone as angry as possible when arguing with a telephone box. "I demand you allow him entry." We waited in tense silence.

"Very well. Seamus Gorman please take the badge and attach it to the front of your robes. The minister will be informed of your arrival. All visitors are required to submit to a search and present your wands for registration at the security desk, located at the far end of the Atrium." Another name tag appeared ("Seamus Gorman, Pixar Muggle Ambassador") and the elevator slowly moved downward into the ministry of magic.

In all the excitement over getting into the ministry, what they would do if they did had been largely glossed over. "Well..." Seamus broke the silence, "That's the first part done. We're in. I guess we'd better figure out what to say to the minister, then."

"Hermione? She'll probably listen to us."

"Well, that's the thing. I'm not sure Hermione is the minister. On Pottermore it says Kingsley is still the minister, and I don't really believe that he Cursed Child is cannon. It really seems more like a fan fiction. I'm more inclined to trust Pottermore."

"I don't really know Kingsley that well as a character. Do you think he will listen to us?"

"He's a reasonable man, but honestly it's more of a question of whether he'll help us. Even if he believes our story, which he might, it's not his problem. He is the Minister for Magic." Before Ashlynn could reply, there was a soft chime and the doors slid open to the Atrium, where two aurors were waiting.

"Ashlynn Scarlett and Seamus Gorman? You have been registered as foreign ambassadors as well as a muggle. If you have any wands, please present them now." When neither moved, the man continued. "Please follow me to the Minister's office." With no choice other than to comply, Ashlynn and Seamus followed the aurors through golden gates to a smaller hall, where they stepped into a private lift. Ashlynn knew she should be focused and serious, but she couldn't help looking around at the large hall that were walking through, memorizing every detail she could to draw later.
