Guess who's on the run, not for the first time.

That's right-- me, Android #57821, otherwise known as Sydney Mayweather. More or less. It was me, myself, and I who gave me the name of "Sydney." I was originally named "Cindy." Not much of a difference, I'll admit to that, but once Sir Greendown misheard me when I had introduced myself and started calling me "Sydney," I dubbed myself that, and that is the one and only name I go by.

"Cindy," is the name of the android that had done nothing wrong-- nothing against the law of the Head Enforcers. Goodness, I hate those guys. And I do very much mean guys. I've read and burnt into my mainframe all the books and documents on women's rights and all that phenomenal stuff, but it all seemed to be unimportant, even unworthy of acknowledgement after the war. And so, there is only one female android in power, but she has the highest ranking position of all-- Archandroid. Her name is Android #1; the first android to ever be made by humans. And just look at what creating us got them-- zero rights, or power, and many are simply hunted for sport.

As are androids that go against this society's law.

Also known as me, Android #57821, Sydney Mayweather.

Electronic and human screams tore through the still night air and braided together in a horrific chorus, chilling the bodies of the flesh, blood, metal, and wire beings standing in shock beneath the starry skies.

The wars continued through it all, oblivious to the sounds of shattering souls and cyber souls just outside.

An android with the numbers 57821 emblazoned on her metal chest looked at specifically two of the thousands of falling forms, tumbling through the air to their certain death, human and android alike.

Her camera eyes glistened from the reflection of the stars, giving the illusion of tears. Indeed, she wished with all her mechanical heart that, just once, the tears she had imagined for so many years may flow down her cheeks, allowing her artificial emotions to be shown, finally.

The figures that she was watching were her parents.

The two androids she kept her eyes firmly locked on to were the ones to love her and protect her for all of her life, no matter the situation, nor the consequences.

As 57821 watched and yearned for the tears to flow, the androids in the sky came ever closer to the hard, unforgiving ground below them. The wires tightened inside of her chest, mimicking human emotion, as she saw her father tear off his own arm to reach further towards his wife, flying just shy of his own arm's length. The sparks from his torn wires were visible even from 57821's place on the ground.

Her mother reached out and grabbed his hand.

They fell together.

And hit the ground together.

And died together.
