~3 months later

Cherrie walks through the door and starts to freak out.

"I have to be ready for college in a week and I don't have anything packed or ready."

"Calm down." I say and feel the flutters of movement.

"How can I calm down when I have to live alone."

"You will have a roommate." I try to calm her.

"I barely know this girl. For all I know she could be a creep that does satanic rituals or something."

"I guess we will get along well then." Dean interrupts with a smile.

"This isn't funny, Papa." As she tries to grab all the stuff she has in her closet and shoves it into her suitcase.

"It's going to be okay, baby girl."

"Can you stop calling me that, Daddy?"

"Why?"

"Because I am going to college and I am not a baby."

I felt a drop in my stomach but I said, "Okay Cherrie."

~1 week later

We push all the boxes and into the car. I put a small container in the front seat where I sit. The morning sickness for during this pregnancy has come a little later than for the others so I carry a garbage can.

"College is only six hours away."

"I know. How do you feel?" She has calmed down since last week.

"I am tired. It is six in the morning." She yawned.

"Let's get out of here then." Dean interrupts as he walks up behind me. Gathering into the car, Dean stops me against the car and places a hand on my slightly risen bump.

"I love you. I can't believe we are doing this."

"Me neither." I smile back and then feel an unsettling feeling in my stomach, puking up all of my stomach contents.

~6 hours later

I sit in the front of the car with Dean while Cherrie and Kade travel behind. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket.

"Hello?" then I hear a deafening screech.

"We are almost there!!! I am almost in college!!"

"Yes and I am now deaf."

I hear a laugh from the other end. I feel another flutter.

"Your brother or sister is excited to." I hang up as we near the building.

"You are feeling the baby?" Dean questions me.

"Yes but it's only flutters."

He smiles and I see the sun on his face. It shines off his skin like a sunrise. I feel the flutters and they are stronger than ever.

We get to the dorm hall and there is a line of college kids lined up along the sidewalks on both sides with signs and cheering. At the end they have buckets for the students to carry their stuff.

I get out and start to carry a box, "No you don't." Dean stops me.

"But I want to help."

He looks around and picks of a pillow and a blanket, "Here, carry this." I laugh at him and grab it.

We finally get all the stuff in her dorm and we say goodbye. I shed a lot of tears. I yell, "Damn hormones" a couple times and we leave.

"Don't forget to tell me what the baby is?" Cherrie hollers at me. "We won't" Dean hollers back.

On the drive home I can not stop crying. She is all grown up now.
