I shook awake, startled and covered in sweat. "Whaaa-" I croaked "Leviathan?! Are you alright???!" Karen had her hands on my shoulders and was shaking me violently "Yeah yeah yeah... What happened?" I said winded "You just kinda... Fell." She said awkwardly "Oh." I sat up and got my bearings before standing up "Well shit, that was one hell of a dream." I breathed in the clean air and looked up at the sky (the ground was too littered with corpses). "What do you think that was?" Karen asked "I dunno. Maybe it was #999..." "Damn, if he's already after you.... You might be screwed." She said unenthusiastically. I shot her a glare and she put her hands up "Just being honest." "I guess you're right. I need more powers or something." I sighed. I turned and started walking back home "See ya." "Bye."

I opened the apartment door to see Trot in an apron making dinner "Welcome home!" He turned and for a second I felt like I saw blood on his stomach, I cringed in disgust and surprise "What's with that look?! I don't look that dumb in this apron right?!" He exclaimed, I could only laugh in response "No, its nothing." I chucked falling onto the couch. Long day. "Dinner will be done in 10 minutes." "Thanks mom." I joked. I kinda missed my mom.
