4 Months Passed Really Fast

I woke up as usual at 6am as class starts only at 7am. Christy was already in the bathroom cleaning herself up.There was a knock on the door. I went to and open it. The same rose from the first day was resting at the front of my door with a letter attached to it. For the past 4 months, I've been getting a rose along with a letter from this admirer. I was so curious by it. At school too, I kept on caughting James staring mostly at me. Day by day it looks like James have been keeping a close eye on me.

I went to clean myself up after Christy's done. Today, I wore a dress with flats while Christy wore a skirt with a tank top. She wore along a looped earring and a diamond necklace. I have to admit she look gorgeous. I set my hair in a french-braid. So did Christy.

Minutes pass and both of us grab our bags and go for Chemistry for first period. Apparently, today classes will end right after lunch. I looked around the class to search for James but to no avail. Disappointed, I went to Christy and sat there quietly. Christy had a worried look on her face. I must have look sad. Christy nudged me after what seems like ten minutes. I've been day-dreaming to even notice that James was sitting next to me,I mean next to me, and was gazing at me. I stopped day-dreaming when Christy nudged me again and I soon realised James was looking at me. Straight in my eyes. I shade of pink spread through my face. I look away preventing the pink shade turn to red. I was now smiling widely.

"Hey, Amber, may I speak with you?" James asked me, I could hear the nervous tone he had.

"Ya..sure, why not?" I replied slowly. As soon as James opened his mouth, the bell rang.

"I guess you'll have to wait till' class is over.." I give him the apologetic look and he shrugged.

An hour passed, the last bell finally rang. I packed my back and waited for Christy. She took her own sweet time in packing. I sense something fishy here. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Adriana, I think I'll not talk now, can we meet later at your room after lunch?" James asked me. From the corner of my eyes I can see that Christy had quickly pack her stuff and walked out the door for Biography with a huge smile on her face. I nod and said goodbye to him. I walked out the door and went to class. He wasn't in the same class as me.

"I thought I smelled something fishy. I knew it, Christy, was this the reason why you took your own sweet time in packing, just so that James would talk to me?" I asked her and a smile crept up my face. All she did as a response was shrugged and smirk. I hate it when she does that. It irritates me.

4 hours passed and it's lunch. My stomach was growling since third period and now I'm rushing to buy chips and soda. Chirsty gave me the 'calm-down-girl-the-food-won't-run-away' look. I ignore her and sit at our usual place. After a minute or two, Chirsty sat down at her place. She had a sandwich and tea with her. After ten minutes, I was sitting and listening to my music when Christy gave me a signal to go back to our dorm. I stood up and walked side by side with her. It took us five minutes to reach the dorm from the cafeteria.

We reached the room but this time I noticed there was no rose or letter. I went in the room thinking that maybe the admirer had gotten sick of me. I shrug and change my outfit. As soon as I walk out the bathroom, there was a knock on the door. I look at the door hole and James was standing there with his hands behind his back. I waited for him to knock for the third time before opening the door. I don't want to seem to eager waiting for him. I opened the door on the third knock and invite him in. He ask Christy if he could lend me for a moment. Christy nods and walk out the room. She had a smile plastered on her face.
