Chapter Three
(Jack)
I fell warmth, that's strange. I open my eyes and see Elsa next to me. I try to hug her but a sharp pain shoots through me. I scream. Everyone ran in. I was breathing heavily. "It's time."
The words scared me. "It's time." Elsa was crying, so were the other Guardians.
"If you don't return, we will miss you." North says to me softly. I scream again and Elsa kisses me. I was still breathing heavily. The sharp pain getting worse by the second.
Then it happened. I saw my life flash before me. I died.
(Elsa)
"He's gone. He's really gone." I cry. Why did it have to be today?
"Don't worry, there is a chance he will come back. Believe in him." Bunny and Tooth said to me. Tooth pulled me into a hug.
"Jack..." I fell asleep in her arms. I am so tired from crying.
(Tooth)
"I'll put her in a bed. Which one?" I ask the boys.
"Try Jack's room. She will be more happy there." I nod and fly her to Jack's room. I can't believe Jack might be gone, too.
(Jack)
I woke up in a bright room.
"Jack, pass my test and you shall see Elsa again."
"Okay, where do I start? I ask the voice. I think it is Manny.
I see a little kid on a lake, about to fall in, a baby falling, and kids sitting in the snow. I have to decide.
I run to the lake. "Hold on there, we will have a bit of fun." I grab a stick and count to 3.
"1.....2.....3!" I grab her and throw her across the lake. I fell in, but swam back out. I wasn't even wet!
I ran over to the baby falling and grabbed the baby from the air. "It's okay, your safe." I feel myself floating. I fly up and hand the baby to the mother.
Then, I run over to the kids sitting. I run in front of them, but they pass through me. What?! I throw a snowball and they look around. They start to throw snowballs at each other.
I go back to the lake and sit down. I fall in and a bright flash surrounds me. I wake up in a empty room.
"AH!!!!!" People run in.
"JACK!" They all run to hug me. I suddenly remembered them. But I felt like I was forgetting something. A girl walked in and ran into my arms.
"Elsa?" I remembered her! I really did!
"Jack! I thought you might be gone forever! I love you!" She kissed me. I pull her closer to me, the Guardians stare.
"Um...guys?" Bunny asked us, but we ignored. He started to tap his foot.
After a bit, we pulled away blushing. "Sorry." Elsa apologized.
"It's fine. You were just happy." Tooth said to us. She smiled and then gave Bunny a death-stare.
"Whoa! Mate it's not my fault they were grossing me out! It was gross!" Bunny complained. So what? Deal with it, Kangaroo!
"Come on, Bunny! They love each other!" Tooth exclaimed and looked about to slap Bunny. I would love to see that.....
Elsa and I blush and look at each other. We laughed at our red faces.
"So, Jack? How does it feel to be back?" North asked me.
"I feel great, stronger too. So glad to be back." I smiled and Elsa grinned.
"Really? Or are you kidding? You sure you feel better?" Tooth asked. She must eat a lot of sugar!
"I'm fine, really! I feel way better." I smiled and Elsa hugged me. I kissed her and Bunny looked sick.
"Mates! Don't do that......" He crossed his furry arms.
"Calm down, Kangaroo. It's not bad." I laughed and he looked about to kill me.
"I'm a bunny! Don't make me throw this at you!" He pulled out his boomerang.
"If you throw that at him, it'll be the last thing you throw for a week!" Elsa said to Bunny. Bunny stared at her, I did too with a smile. Nice one, Elsa!
"Fine, I won't." Bunny glared at me.
Just then, a dark shadow crawled across the room. Pitch. Why is he here? Seriously?!
He walked out of the shadows. "I'm back, and be ready. I'm gonna get little Frost here, you'll see." I growled at him.
He walked over to Elsa. "So, come with me and I won't hurt Frost." She was terrified. I had to help her.
"Elsa! Don't listen to him! Stay strong and fearless." I shouted to Elsa. Pitch lunged at me, knocking me over. I groaned and Elsa screamed.
"I won't let you down! Pitch get away from him!" She shot ice spikes at Pitch. Pitch laughed and dodged them.
"I'll be back. Believe me." He walked over to me and he touched my head. My eyes closed and I was surrounded in darkness....
(Elsa)
Pitch had caused Jack to pass out. I ran over to Jack and sat his head on my legs. "This can't be real. Pitch is stupid. I will stay strong. I'm not scared!" I shouted. The Guardians had come to help.
"Elsa, he will be alright. Don't worry. I'll bring him to an extra room and he can rest. You may check on him." North said as he picked Jack up. Jack hung there limply. I want to kill Pitch.....
Later, I checked on Jack. He was in a bed. His hair was more.....brown? What happened? "Jack?" He moved at bit. He opened his eyes, that were slightly brown?!
"Elsa? What happened? I feel hot." He groaned and I was scared.
"NORTH, BUNNY, TOOTH! JACK, SOMETHING IS WRONG!" I screamed. I would scream for Sandy, but he was away for a while.
The Guardians ran into the room and gasped when they saw Jack. "Is he......mortal?" Tooth asked.
"Is he alright, mate?" Bunny also asked.
"He is mortal. His life may also be in danger. He can't survive the sudden changes and Pitch may take advantage of that." North said. I slumped.
"You mean, Pitch will kill him?" Tooth asked. I could tell she was nervous.
"Yes, Jack will be no match for him. Jack will easily be killed. We can't help much. We can't be around all the time." North said sadly. So Jack will die? I can't let that happen!
"I'll watch him. I'll take him to my castle and watch over him. Since the guards can see him and the nurse, they can watch him while I work." The Guardians nodded. We had all forgotten Jack was awake and listening.
"You mean I'll die?!" Jack said nervously. He knows he will be no match for Pitch.
"Yes. But Elsa said she would watch you." Jack nodded slowly and laid back down. I put him in the sleigh and we set off for Arendelle.
