"Kayla hurry up and get the sodas. More people are starting to show up," my aunt said over the phone.
I rolled my eyes and hung up the phone. My aunt was having a cookout at her house, but they ran out of drinks. I volunteered to get more just so that I could get away from my family. I loved them and everything, but they were beyond annoying.
As I was walking down the aisles, I noticed that Walmart was practically empty. I thought that it was weird, but I just kept walking until I found what I needed.
"Excuse me," a someone said.
I looked in the direction of the voice to find this very handsome guy.
"Yes?"
He started walking towards me.
"I couldn't help but notice how beautiful you are. What's your name sweetheart?"
I squinted my eyes at him.
"My name is Kayla."
"I'm Jayson. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Jayson chuckled and shook his head.

I rolled my eyes and started walking in the opposite direction.
"Wait, can I at least get a hug?"
I thought about it for a second. A hug couldn't hurt right?
