Chapter One

Aqua's POV

I was never the most popular kid, in school or out. I was always into books, video games, and music. My weird name did not help my popularity either. I mean who names their kid Aquatic Wave. Anyways, at least I had two friends I knew I could trust with my life. Their names were Andrew Chell and Babette Beatricia. We had helped each other through some dark times. Andrew's little sister went missing when she was only ten. It happened a couple years after after we met. I gave him someone to talk to and even helped to search the woods behind his house when they couldn't locate. Then Babette came along. She transferred to our school in the middle of a semester. The three of us spent about a month getting to know each other. Then Andrew and I found out about Babette getting bullied. We stuck close to her and I even got suspended for knocking a guy out when he decided to start spreading rumors. After a while things settled down and we were inseparable. My dad never really noticed me after mom left when I was five so my grandmother raised me for the most part. One day when I was fifteen she got sick and then she was just......gone and my friends were all I had left. My dad came and went at home. He left me money at the end of each week. Since my dad was never at home I stayed at Andrew's​ or Babette's house. After I told Andrew's parents what had happened they made their guest room into a room for me for when I needed a place to escape to. Babette's mother reassured me I was welcome anytime but since Andrew lived down the road and Babette lived in town I spent most of my time at Andrew's house. It took a while to get over my grandmother's death but I did with help from Andrew and Babette. My life was back to normal and I was happy again most of the time. That's when my life was turned upside down.
