Chapter 3 An old Friend

As I fly through the air I can feel my wing that got hit hurting so I land on a mountain to rest. I look at the map marking this as a good spot for maybe a mountain base then I eat some carrots to bring up my hunger. As I take off it snowing up here so I am worried about mobs and then it went down hill fast. I felt something sharp go through my wing and look back to see someone in full white and a mask with a bow. I keep balance as my wings stay out to glide and I smell smoke knowing it is the arrow.

I start to go down faster and catch on full fire like a blazing thing falling. I see a house close so I aim away and lose altitude faster. Before hitting the ground I see something brown and furry before blacking out.

Preston's POV Pack time woo

I was sitting outside the house the pack shared relaxing waiting for Jerome, Lachlan, and Rob to come back when I see a burning ball of fire going towards the ground and whatch as it almost hits Jerome.

J: "That was close to close but it is a hybrid or something that fell."

I walk over seeing a burning arrow and it looks familiar.

P: "We should help it I mean it is alone and we should help it if it is badly injured."

J: "I would be surprised if it wasn't badly injured from that fall."

P: "Come on let's get it inside."

We get it in the flame proof guest room and we look for injuries. We tried taking the shirt and pants of but they were like part of his body. He was a Lava mob for sure but it looked like it was something from the real World also so that didn't help. Jerome Left after a bit to rest so I decided to search for things in his pockets and I found something I thought was fake it was a picture of me on the left ripped in the middle so I pulled out my left side ripped in the middle and was horrified as I realized my old friend, Fire, was experimented on. I put the photo back and sat down and decided to wait for the others to get back and Mitch and Vikk to get up because they stayed up late again mining.

Time skip.

Lachlan came back last but he was wearing his normal clothes now instead of his white assassin clothes now. Rob was confused by Fire but Lachlan never even came in he was busy with tracking something weird. Rob was the only one who I told about my past friend in the Nether when I showed him the proof he was shocked. Fire healed oddly over the course of days and Lachlan kept looking for something it was weird. That is when I heard a noise from his goggles.

???: "Fire you ok you haven't answered in a bit please call back please."

It was a voice I didn't recognize but I saw he had an ear piece with a button and stuff. I looked at it when I heard a noise from pressing the button.

-S (like Siri just less annoying): "You have 7 voice mails from Rainy. Who would you like to call? Maki,Side,Sparky,or Rainy."

P: "Sparky."

S: "Fire your calling back thank god."

P: "Umm actually Sparky it is Preston an old friend something shot him down in the sky and-"

S: "WHAT!" (I love drama be happy I keep it less gory I could get banned never know)

P: "He came crashing down by our house near the mountains I was outside and he came down almost on Jerome."

S: "Just when he wakes up call me please."

Background. R: "Mika please don't you dare smack me with that fish."

M: "I do what I want."

At that I hang up and see Jerome looking at me confused.

J: "Ok WTF Preston that is your friend."

P: "Yeah just don't tell anyone Rob knows but no one else does.

I tell him everything and what must have happened. He was tearing up a bit at times but agreed to keep it a secret.
