Optimus' pov
The human children had dragged us out to a deserted yet beautiful lake so we would take a break from the war and I was just sitting on the beach with Ratchet in the sun. I quite enjoy the warm feeling of the suns rays on my armor and the cool breeze through my vents, especially the ones of the sides of my face. My optics were closed and my helm was tilted up so the rays were directly hitting my face.
The kids and the other Autobots were playing in the water, I enjoyed listening to their laughs and seeing them be happy. I'm not allowed to have fun so I enjoy when people around me get to have the privilege of having good times in life. I suddenly heard screaming, splashing, and heavy pedesteps. I opened my optics and saw everyone running out of the lake.
"What happened?" Ratchet asked.
"W-We felt something m-metallic and s-slimy against u-us!" Miko stuttered.
I looked out into the lake, not seeing anything.
"Metallic and slimy? How big did it feel?" Ratchet asked.
"R-Really big!" Bulkhead squealed.
"Hm, Optimus, we might have to explore the water to see what it was." Ratchet said.
I nodded in agreement and heard a small splashing sound. I looked back over to the lake and saw tiny ripples in the water. I tilted my helm, waiting to see more. I saw a few more tiny ripples in the water and hummed in question.
:T-There it is again!: Bumblebee beeped in panic.
I heard the slightest squealing noises coming from under the surface and saw very tiny, thin fins.
"You mean those things?" Ratchet chuckled.
"T-They're attached to something b-bigger!" Raf squeaked, hiding behind Bumblebee.
"I highly doubt that." Ratchet said, not believing them at all.
I was looking at the water as he said that and saw the fins moving as two points also came from the water and then disappeared. It's like something else lives in the lake, whatever it is I'm either seeing two or more different creatures trying to make itself look like a giant creature or one giant creature. I wonder if there's more? What do they look like? Whatever it was it was getting closer.
"Autobots, do you see that? Out there?" I pointed to the tiny points in the water that had just reappeared.
"Is that one or two creatures? Two of the points are disappearing and reappearing so I have a feeling that it's only one creature." Ratchet said.
"I do as well, let's wait and see if anything else happens to see if it is dangerous." I said and sat back.
The thing swam closer and stopped close to shore. It rose up a little and it seemed to be a giant, metal, aquatic being. It's helm was blue and had finials and a crest like me. I saw it's big, electric blue optics that looked like mine come from out of the water and everyone but Ratchet, Arcee, and I screamed, and the creature dove back underwater.
It took a moment but the creature came back up a few minutes later. He looked a little scared but no longer panicked. It came up enough so we could see it's face and it tilted its helm.
Miko picked up a semi-empty can and threw it at its helm. It blinked when the can hit it's helm and its optics widened when the can landed in the water. The can's remaining contents spilled into the water and it let out a high pitched, squeal-like scream, backing away from it, it looked exactly like me, but how? It smacked the can with its tail back to Miko and a sharp bit of the metal cut its tail.
