Part 3
"When Death Strikes"
Fred and Carl suddenly woke up.They heard something.Bells.Church bells.They both stood up from the ground and tracked the place where the church bells are coming from.They saw a chapel at the center of the woods.Beside it was a cemetery.Before they went inside,they gathered some branches and sharpened it to use it a weapon.they went inside the chapel slowly and silently.Upon entering,they saw three zombies sitting on the bench staring at the cross on the center.The three of them turned around and looked at Fred and Carl.The zombie on the left side stood up and walked towards their direction.Red went close to the zombie and stabbed him in the eyes twice.the other zombie also stood up and tried to bite Carl on the neck.The zombie pinned Carl to the ground.Fred tried to help Carl but the other zombie attacked him.Fred almost got bit.Since Carl is still a teenager,he still isn't that strong to fight a zombie pinning him down.Fred remembered that zombies was drawn to loud sounds.The bells of the chapel was loud enough to be heard across the forest.More zombies are coming."Fred,Help me!I can't hold this zombie anymore!"Shouted Carl.Fred stabbed the zombie pinning him down on top of it's head.Fred quickly ran to Carl,but he was too late.Carl was bit on the neck."No!" Shouted Fred.Fred kicked the zombie and stepped on it's head really hard.Zombie brain was all over the floor.Fred tried to cover the bite with his hand,But it has no use .It quickly infected Carl's nervous system.Carl passed out."No,no,no!Carl,Please don't die!" said Fred while crying.After a while,Carl was moving.But his eyes were all black.Carl stood up from the ground.He isn't the Carl that Fred knew.Carl turned into a zombie.Fred tried to run outside the chapel to avoid Carl.There were hundreds of zombies waiting around the chapel.Fred is trapped.They must have heard the bells.All the zombies turned around and looked at Fred.Fred heard an engine running.It was a car.The car was circling around the chapel running over some zombies.After that,A man came out of the car and started shooting some zombies."Hey,Come here!Run!" shouted the man.Fred started running towards the car.The man handed Fred a hatchet.Fred started hitting some zombies on the head.They both went inside the car.He circled around the chapel,running over some zombies again.They went pass to the woods and back at the highway.The back seat was full of supplies and guns."You heard the bell too?" said Fred."Yeah I did." answered the man."What's your name?"asked Fred. "I'm Lucas.You?" asked the man."I'm Fred" said Fred.Lucas and Fred kept talking.After a while,They arrived at a camp.They went inside and saw the survivors.Fred always knew that him and Carl aren't the only survivors around the whole city.
