The Road Trip

One: Driving To Florida

And here we go........

The Road trip that will change my life.

I think.

I'm going on a road trip with my brother and three of his friends and I'm bringing two of mine.

 Grace. Daniel. 

My two friends who are coming.

Chad. Gabe. Christian.

My brother Jake's three friends. Ive known Chad and Gabe for basically my whole life. But Christian is another story.  He moved to Georgia a couple months ago and all I have to say is he LOVES teasing me. Its annoying sometimes but I kinda like it, Is that weird?  I think I wanna go on this road trip but I'm not sure I mean going on a road trip with five guys and only one girl? Yeah I don't know.

I go up to my room to finish packing. 

"Lacey! Hurry up!" Jake yells.

"I'm coming idiot! Just let me finish!" I yell back.

"We don't have much time! Christan is gonna be here soon!" Jake yells.

I hurry up and put the rest of the stuff in my bag and walk down the stairs with my bags.

My mom and dad are usually gone working on their new movie stuff.

They're directors for movies so Jake and I hardly get to see them.

Jake has something for acting so mom and dad love him.

Then there's me, The odd person in the family who likes singing.

Mom and dad could careless about me.  Whenever they're home they ignore me.  Love you too mom and dad.

"Lacey!" Jake yells.

"What?"

"Christian's here with the RV. Time to go." He says. "Is everything alright sis?" 

I put on a fake smile and say I'm fine.

"Lacey I can tell your lying. Come on tell Jakey what's wrong." He says.

I look at him "I was just thinking Jake." 

"Oh no what were you thinking about. Whenever you say that It Is never good." 

"I was thinking about mom and dad." I say.

He comes over to me and gives me a hug. 

Jake know's everything about me. 

Who I dated, Who I hate, Who I can't trust and stuff like that.

"Listen I am never ever gonna hate you just because your different. I like different." He says still hugging me.

"Thanks Jake. I love you." I say

"Love you too Cupcake. Now let's go have the best summer ever!" He says.  Did I mention Jake calls me Cupcake? Just cause I like Cupcakes? Well he does. 

We walk out of the house with our bags.

I can't believe Jake got us this RV. 

It's probably the biggest RV in the history of RV's.

Christian, and Chad are already In there.

"Hey man!" Christian says to Jake.

They do that weird man hug thing. I still don't get it why guys do that.

"You never get anything." Christian says.

Oh my god. I said that out loud.

"You said that out loud too." Jake says. Crap, I should stop thinking out loud.
