Born royal

"She has a pulse!" I heard a woman say as I started to hear people rummaging around and the sound of a ambulance? Am I alive? Or is this a dream? Ouch! Why does my neck hurt so bad! "Mmmmmuhm" I mumble from the pain. "She's waking up" I heard a male voice say. Someone opened up my eye suddenly and pointed a bright light in my eye I flinched from the brightness making a snarling and hissing sound kind of, why would I do that ? I heard someone gasp. "Stay still or you'll open your stitches, how did this happen?" How did what happen, I reached up to my neck curious of what he was talking about I was very weak and had little energy. I felt stitches and a great soreness. Wha- I remember now! The crazy mugging bath salt guy! I opened my eyes slowly and hesitantly because of the bright light. I saw a man with green eyes that were glowing a little... Like the guy in the alley! "Close your eyes or they'll know keep them closed till I say or bad things will happen" the man said. I closed my eyes quickly not knowing what he was talking about but I have had enough of bad things happen today so I just did what he said.

They rolled me somewhere in the gurney I'm guessing it was a hospital since I was just in an ambulance. I heard them say doctor things about me, something about my healing being a little faster than it should and how it's amazing I'm alive and whatever blah blah boring! "Psst hey, don't move or say anything keep your eyes closed until everyone leaves I'll come back and talk to you but wait until then It won't be long." A familiar voice said I think it was the guy in the ambulance, what was with him and me keeping my eyes closed?

I waited for them to leave by the time they were gone I slowly opened my eyes and scanned the room that I was in. Yep I was right just a hospital room. I shifted uncomfortable my body is really sore and my throat is starting to burn not like a little like a lot! I need water, I wonder where that guy is.

As if he was question to come when I thought it he walks in the room. As he walks to me I scan his features like I never have before I can see so much detail in everything now that I think about it. And I'm not even wearing my glasses huh that's strange.

He walks smoothly here taking long strides with his long legs, he has nice broad shoulders and a nice chiseled face with nice green eyes with specs of neon green I'd be worried but he's helped me so I think there is no need if he was gonna hurt me I'm sure he would have already done it.

He had a smirk on his face as I realized I'm just staring, gawking at him as he stands there! AWKWARD. I turn my head quickly as I feel a slight blush.

He clears his throat, "Enjoying the view?" He says amused. "Actually no I was looking at the little red smudge on your face" I say snooty looking him in the eyes. His eyes go wide and he rubs his face quickly going to the sink to look in the mirror to see if he got it haha I got him! "So what's your name and why do I have to keep my eyes closed?" I say casually as he walks back over and plops in the seat next to the hospital bed. "My name is Alekia and Well you don't want them to know what you are do you?" He ask.

What I am? "What do you mean? And what do my eyes have to do with anything." I say. He gives me a confused look. "You've got to be kidding a royal should know not to go out without contacts." He said amused.

"A royal? Dude I don't know what you mean." What is it with this guy he acts like I know stuff. "Wait... A second.. You have a gash in your neck and it's not healing normally and you have no idea what I'm talking about. But you're a royal so you have to be born like this not made it doesn't make sense." He says thinking out loud. This guy is confusing. "Can you tell me how you got that gash?" He asked.

"Wellll long story short a crazy bath salt guy with glowing green eyes bit my neck and tried to drink my blood and now I'm here." I say as if it's no big deal clearly making it a big deal. "Ok I don't know how to really say this because quite frankly I don't understand it myself but. You were attacked by a vampire and turned I'm also a vampire but have contacts to hide the glowing but they dissolve because we have like venom or whatever and now you're a vampire and your eyes glow blue only royals have it which are natural born leading vampires." He said quickly my eyes widened as I tried to take in everything he just said. A vampire, I laughed out loud. what!? He's crazy!
