SPLASH!!!! Nathaniel apparently thought it'd be funny to get me soaked before I had my sleepover. "Nathaniel!!!" I shouted. I quickly looked for what I thought was a mermaid, but it was gone. I got up and ran to the car. I grabbed a towel and dabbed my face dry and wrapped the towel around my body.
I walked back towards the lake. I stayed back far enough so that if Nathaniel splashed me, I would be too far away for a drop to reach me. When they settled down, the boys went home. But I stayed, searching the blue waters. After a while, it got a tint of dark. All my freinds were probaly waiting at home, ready to shout happy birthday. I started to walk away when I heard some thing. Some giggled and as I turned around I heard a splash.
