Aliyah and I were watching Aladdin. Well I was kinda watching. I kept receiving text messages from Jah saying he was bored. Ski apparently made music and was at the studio so he was alone. I invited him over so he could have some company.
"Yoo, this shit is nice." He says as he walks in.
He greets Liyah and we finish watching the movie.
Jah and I head upstairs to my room because Aliyah had fallen asleep.
"So whatchu been doing?" He asked
"Nothing much, how about you?"
He hesitates.
"Can I tell you something?"
"Yeah, sure."
"I've been working on some music."
"What? For real?" I ask and he nods. "Let me hear something."
"Nahh you good."
"So you really gone tell me that for nothing?"
He sighs and I laugh.
"Okay fine."
I. Was. Shook.
"I didn't know you can sing."
"Yeah.. I rap too"
"Spit something then son." I say.
"Uh no that's enough for today." We both laugh.
"Mkayyy but why you not putting it out there. That shit is dope." I tell him being honest.
"I don't know. I guess I like to keep shit to myself."
"I feel you but it was still really good."
"Yeah but you're the only person that has ever heard that so you got an exclusive"
"Shit fr? Not even Ski?" I ask.
"Nope." He says popping the p.
We talked for a while until all of a sudden it got silent.
I don't know why but for some reason I blurted out, "I like you."
His movement stopped and his eyes widened.
I made the same facial expression.
"Um..." I said.
He gave a slight smile and said,
"I like you too Thailyn."
Outside the door I hear someone say,
"Awwwwww."
"Shut up witcho loud ass." Another voice responded.
We both quickly looked towards the door and I got an idea. I walked toward the door and counted down from 3 on my fingers.
I yanked the door open as fast as I could. Both Talia and Aliyah fell on the floor and Jah and I burst out laughing.
"That's what y'all nosey asses get." I say still laughing.
