"Demi would you please calm down?" Selena asks groaning, Demi just shakes her head and grabs her best friends wrist dragging her into school. Demi tells everyone she hates school but she knows deep down she really doesn't, she just loves to learn new things and nobody will take that away from her, especially her love for music. Demi turns the corner and comes face to face with the principle and another bloke she doesn't recognise.
"Morning Mr. Jonas." She greets the principle giving him a warm smile.
"Good Morning Demetria, I would love to talk to you later, do you think you could come to my office at lunch?" He questions, Demi nods giving Mr. Jonas the queue to leave watching him walk away with the other man, she can't help but smile.
"Teacher's pet." Selena teases, Demi groans and they both laugh it off carrying on the travel through the snake like corridors.
"I'm sure you'll settle in fine." Joe's uncle encourages noticing his nephew looks a bit nervous. Joe nods taking a seat looking the schedule given to him noticing he has seniors first, it's the beginning of the year practically so he hasn't really missed out on much, and no he didn't get the job just because the principles his Uncle. That's what Joe likes to think anyway. Joe asks all questions needed before his uncle leaves letting him get on with his duties. Joe stares out of the empty seats that will soon be full of teenagers, some wanting a education, some not but Joe's prepared to give any punishments he may need to. He just stares out realising how much his life is changing, even his mom agrees he's growing up too quickly. Though she has missed a large part of his life already. The bell rings allowing students to pile in, Joe watches them greeting some as they greet him until the second bell rings showing it's time for the lesson to start and if anyone were to walk in now they would be late. Joe stands up and walks to the front leaning against the front of his desk all the students watching him waiting for him to speak.
"I'm Mr. Jonas your new math teacher." He says simply, he's dreaded introducing himself since he found out he would be getting the job.
"The principle's name is Mr. Jonas." He hears following the sound to a dirty blonde shaggy haired boy states. Joe knew he could get questions since they have the same sir name.
"The principle is my uncle, my dad's brother so we have the same name." Joe explains hoping to get the personal away and start on the lesson. Joe explains what the work is making the students get on with the work to his surprise all of them silently working Joe offers his help if any need it but none seem to. He only interrupts them when he needs to take the register hoping to learn a few names knowing he's quite good at remembering. He knows one student already, Demetria Lovato, the girl he bumped into when his uncle was showing him to his class. Demi has her head down doing the work finding it difficult, bad thing is she's too scared to ask for help. Demi's always been a bit shy around new people but when she gets to know them she opens up and becomes the Demi her family and friends love so much.
