JUNE 3rd

You know those days when you just don't care that you will possibly let anything happen? Yeah, everyone else has those days. Including a certain (h/c) girl with (c) eyes whose life was just as indifferent from everyone else's except for the certain events that happen. So everything that happened was normal and expected. Yet, there were always those times when something you thought would never happen actually  happened.

For example, (Y/n)'s recent breakup with her recent boyfriend, Matt, who has left her for a much younger girl, had a pretty big affect on poor (Y/n). Keep in mind that in this story, our dearest (Y/n) is a 17 year old girl, and the girl that her ex left her for is at least 14 years old. Then, (Y/n)'s dearest friend, Aaliyah, waltz into (Y/n)'s house on the last day of school and asked - no, more like DEMANDED - a sleep over to celebrate the last day of their torturous hell infamously known as none other than high school. But you see, (Y/n) wasn't in the mood to give a single crap anyway due to the change of events in her life.

So, why not?

"C'mon, it'll be fun!" Aaliyah exclaims with excitement obviously making itself known in her voice.

The (h/c) girl didn't respond as she just stares into her friend's eyes in slight annoyance. "If I say yes, you'll promise me that you won't make a huge mess in the entire house like last time, right?" Asks (Y/n) as the funny yet horrifying memory made her feel like she just had a Vietnam flashback. "I cannot afford to clean up after your big mess again since I live alone."

Aaliyah flinches at her question with confusion before she smiles and rubs the back of her head nervously avoiding eye contact with the (h/c) female, "Ha! But you've gotta admit, last time was crazy, dude!" She says as she waves her free hand wildly as if dismissing the current topic.

Realizing that Aaliyah isn't going to give up anytime soon, (Y/n) only rolls her eyes before moving her lips once more, "Fine, but you better have something planned. And, it better be something organized and clean or else you're going to spend another night in my house cleaning up after yourself." She said as she turned away to leave towards the kitchen as she heard Aaliyah yell victoriously behind her back.

"You're going to be surprised with what I brought today!" Aaliyah exclaims again with a overly excitement grin on her face.

"It's another animu-thingy, isn't it?" (Y/n) asks as she got hold of a glass cup and serves herself a glass of water.

Aaliyah only looks at (Y/n) questionably before immediately putting her hands on her hips and giving her friend a disappointed look. "Okay, first: it's pronounced anime. A-N-I-M-E. And two: How'd you know?"

Finally turning around to face her confused friend, (Y/n) looks at her tiredly with a glass of water in her hand. "You make it very obvious." She states bluntly.

"I do?" Asks Aaliyah.

"Yes. Yes, you do." Stated (Y/n) with a blank and blunt expression.

"Well, you'll certainly love this one!" Yells Aaliyah out of the blue almost causing a heart attack upon the bored girl, "I promise you this time that you'll like this one!"

Before (Y/n) could even answer, she felt her phone vibrate inside her back pocket in which she pulls out and saw the notification only to immediately scowl in annoyance. Immediately, she turns it off and shoves it back inside her back pocket.
