CJ’s POV

Well, Geography is done, and the next subject is History, my favorite! I look at the clock, and it’s ten minutes before recess. Oh well, I just finish my test ahead. I can’t look at my other classmates since Ms. Monica is roaming. If I look around, she’ll think that I’m cheating. I just put my head down.

“Excuse me?” Oh crap, it’s Ms. Monica. My whole body shakes when I hear her voice. I don’t even cheat nor look around. I raise my head to her. She’s looking at me now.

“Why Ms. Monica?” I ask her sweetly.

“Are you done?” she asks me kindly. I must be wrong. She looks kind.

“Yes Ms. Monica,” I answer her then she nods.

“What is your surname dear?” she asks me once again.

“Sanchez,” I answer her then she goes and roams again. Whew, that’s nearly. Before she does, she smiles at me, and it seems strange.

Ms. Monica goes in front. I look at the time, and ten minutes pasts.

“Okay class, finish or not, please pass your papers!” We all start to pass our papers. Ms. Monica then arranges the test papers, and she let my two classmates to get in the classroom. She asks them to have their special exam in Guidance Office.

“Okay class, you may take your recess now,” and we all go out the classroom. I go to Sid’s chair to accompany me in cafeteria.

“Can you come with me in cafeteria?” I ask her, but she stares me with a foolish smile. My emotion is opposite to Sid’s emotion.

“A-A-ha! It’s not funny to be honest. Let’s go!” but she doesn’t stop laughing there, so I leave her like a crazy. I almost step outside the classroom when she runs to me.

“Wait for me Camille Jade!” I thought she’s going to laugh there until our next subject. We walk going to cafeteria.

“Hey, sorry CJ!” We both stop walking. I cross my arms and stare at her.

“Who’s your closer friend, Palm or me?” I ask her then grin a little bit. She then hugs me.

“Of course, you!” and I also hug her. After that, we continue our way to cafeteria.

Sid’s POV

After we buy our foods, we look for a table. There are almost no more vacant seats.

“Guys!” I look at the back. I see Step, calling us. CJ and I go to their seat. Step is together with her boyfriend, Liam. Step sits beside Liam, and we sit opposite to them.

Step and Liam are part of our gang. They have been together for almost one year.

“So guys, how’s the test?” CJ asks to us.

“It’s kind a hard for me. Oh, our proctor is really strict,” then Step continues sipping her mango juice. I start to eat my burger when Ian comes near to me. He is with Palm and Evan.

“Hi Sid, how’s the test?” he asks me. I nod, “Well, it’s a little bit hard especially History.”

“Hey CJ,” CJ looks at Evan with a grumpy look then he starts laughing at her.

“I don’t care Evan. I shall revenge,” then she continues eating.

“Wait guys, what do you plan to do after the exam tomorrow?” Liam starts to talk.

“It’s our first anniversary next year Liam,” says Step to Liam, kissing him in his cheek, but Liam seems unhappy.

“Why are you unhappy Liam?” asks CJ. The silence breaks when Palm laughs, and there Evan, joining him.

CJ’s POV

“Hey CJ,” Evan calls my attention. I look at him with a grumpy look. Does he think it’s funny? What if Palm does it to him?

“I don’t care Evan. I shall revenge,” I say to him then eat my snack. Evan and I are most likely frenemies, but I love him even he’s annoying. He’s a brother to me because I’m the only child.

“Wait guys, what do you plan to do after the exam tomorrow?” Liam breaks the silent. All of the gang look at him.

“It’s our first anniversary next year Liam,” says Step to Liam, then she kisses him in cheeks. I think Liam is unhappy.

“Why are you unhappy Liam?” I ask him, but Palm starts laughing. Evan joins him. I get annoyed that I stand and pat them hard.

“Ouch! That hurts CJ!” Palm complains. I pull out my tongue to both of them and cross my arms.

“Guys, look at Ms. Monica,” Ian points at her, coming inside the cafeteria. I’m just staring at her, walking toward the counter. We all greet at her, and she just smiles.

“I think guys, Ms. Monica is not strict,” I mention. They look at me like they’re clueless.

“What?” Palm reacts.

“She asks me earlier during our History test,” I explain, but they are speechless.

“So, what’s with it?” Step asks.

“She asks sweetly,” I answer the question.

“What’s the question?” Evan asks.

“What my surname is,”

“What is your answer?” Evan asks again like he’s excited.

“Of course, Sanchez. What else is my username?” I see Palm’s face.

“What? Why does she ask you anyway?” I just smile.

“I don’t know? Maybe I finish the test first,” I explain to them, and their reactions are just unconvincing.

“Maybe Ms. Monica loves our surname,” Palm explains it to Evan. We all just laugh; what an answer!

“Guys, do you have any plan after the examination?” Step asks once again. Oh yeah, tomorrow’s final exam.

“We can do an individual research to where we will go,” Palm suggests. It seems a nice idea!

“And post the link to our FB Group. Majority likes win,” Palm adds.

“And of course, within this place. Well, a little bit far?” Step adds. I get my phone in my pocket to note this thing. This shall be an exciting one.

“When?” I ask them.

“The day after exam, so that Ian, Evan, Liam and I can play video games tomorrow,”

“Oh, are we going to your house Palm?” ask Evan then he looks at me. I look away from him. Urg, pranks over me.

“Yes!” So, yeah, probably pranks! I look at the ceiling.

“Not again!” I growl. No, I will never let them prank me.Suddenly, Sid stands up like she has something to say.

“Guys, it’s almost time,” she says.

“Guys, be online later so that we can talk stuffs,” Palm says before we go.

“Oh, let’s go so that we can review more,” I tell them. We go back to classroom as fast as we can before Ms. Monica catches us late –she’s not anymore in cafeteria.
