Jungkook x Yugyeom

Chapter 3

The waiter finally brought their food. While eating, they made small talk. Yugyeom learned that Jungkook was a bit older than him and that he loved to dance and draw. And Jungkook learned that Yugyeom loved to listen to music and played the piano. By the time both Jungkook and Yugyeom had finished their meals, they had learned a lot about each other.

When the time came to pay the bill, Yugyeom went to reach for it. But Jungkook managed to grab it first. Jungkook insisted that he should pay for the meal because Yugyeom had saved him from eating alone.

"Are you sure that you want to pay Kookie? If you do, I can treat you to another meal, say, in a few days?"

"Umm, is that an attempt to ask me out on a date?" Jungkook asked, as he was somewhat oblivious to Yugyeom's intentions. He may have been older than Yugyeom, but he was still very innocent.

"Uhh, yeah it is..." Yugyeom looked down, clearly embarrassed.

"Well, in that case, it's a yes. I like talking to you. You're quite interesting."

Yugyeom looked up, shocked. He didn't think that Jungkook was going to say yes.

"Well then, here's my number." Yugyeom took out his phone and told Jungkook his number. "Also, my band has a gig down the street from here tomorrow. Do you want to go?"

Jungkook smiled, "I'd love to go!"

"Cool! I'll text you the address. Umm, wait, can I have your number then?"
